Wendy Williams just shocked her fans during a segment of her talk show by loudly burping in the middle of a conversation, and she blamed it on ‘Puerto Rican food’ she had been eating! This is great!
The ‘Wendy Williams Show’ host blew away her fans this week after she let a big belch loose while in the middle of a segment, where she let one rip and then excused herself. The best part is immediately following the blast, Wendy perfectly transitioned into plugging an earlier segment with Chef Evett Río.
“Look Evette Ríos’ Puerto Rican food… all the way down to the bone,” Wendy said.
You Gotta See This!
Fans of the show erupted on social media following the blast, with one person tweeting: “Wendy just burped on live TV. #WendyWilliams.”
Another replied: “You must not be a true Wendy watcher. Not the first time, won’t be the last.” “Did Wendy Williams just egregiously and ear-splittingly belchburp like a football player? (Wendy Williams) Lay off the Fresca before showtime Auntie!” another said.
As you know, on Wendy’s season premiere she revealed she had lost a large amount of weight while she was under quarantine, saying, “I’ve lost 25 lbs… And I didn’t do it on purpose. It’s just that food became disgusting to me. You know I was cooking at first, and it was all good. I’m shoveling stuff in my mouth.”
She continued, “I’m going out to eat… everything from hot dogs to lobster, king crab legs all that stuff. But then it became like I’m done with food.”
This isn’t the first time Wendy has been accused of passing gas on her award-winning talk show. Who could forget the infamous ‘Fartgate’ where she was accused of farting on live TV.
The scandal emerged on social media on January 17, after a clip was shared from the show appearing to depict her passing gas during a Hot Topics segment.
But, She Wasn’t Having It!
Wendy addressed ‘Fartgate’ by speaking to her audience the next day, saying, “I want to talk to you about something very, very serious. I’ve been going through this for a moment and I would like to have a private conversation with you, okay?” The talk show host then played the video in question, which showed the 55-year-old leaning over in her chair, and a sound (similar to a fart) can be heard.
“I have never farted once on this show,” Williams said point-blank. Adding, “As a matter of fact, I barely fart, you know why? Because gas gets released several different ways and mine is belching, because all I do is talk.”
Either way, only Wendy Williams can make a burp or farting a cool part of her show!
