Kelly Ripa is being told she needs a sandwich ASAP as a backstage video of the 50-year-old sparks weight concerns. The “Live! With Kelly and Ryan” host, known for her pint-sized frame and minuscule waist, had both on show yesterday as the show she stars on filmed her for #KellysFashionFinder – videos showing the blonde’s stylish and designer outfits are uploaded to the “Live!” Instagram almost daily. The Wednesday video saw Kelly joke about her jumpsuit no longer being “baggy.” Check it all out below.

The mom of three, looking sensational after ringing in her 50th birthday this month, was stylishly outfitted in a dark, silky, and embellished jumpsuit from Mayle. A snazzy pair of green Gianvitto Rossi stilettos paired the look, with Kelly seen chatting away.
“It’s old,” Kelly said, adding: “Um, it used to be very baggy, but I washed it in the washing machine. I did.”

“How in the world can you stay so skinny….do you never eat??” one fan wrote.
“Very baggy? You must be a minus 0,” another said, with Kelly then somewhat-harshly told that she needs a “sandwich.” Further replies saw the star called “too thin,” although the tone wasn’t sharp in all responses – “Very cute,” one fan wrote as they told Kelly she’s on the small side.

Kelly, who called her body a “Peter Pan” one in 2019, has opened up about her diet. A 2020 food diary shared with Harper’s Bazaar saw Kelly reveal that breakfast is an almond butter and cinnamon mix topping green apples – “I eat that like a porridge, if you will,” Kelly stated. Her big “microgreens” lunch salads also got mentioned.
“The avocado toast kick of 2015 to 2017 was two years where avocado toast was pretty much the foundation of my diet,” Ripa continued, adding:
“Sometimes, I would fry an egg and add that on top. Sometimes, a piece of cheese would accompany the avocado toast. But the avocado toast was a real staple of my diet.”
Kelly and co-star Ryan Seacrest are regularly seen hanging with the team’s backstage coffee guy, although beady-eyed fans will have spotted that Kelly brings her own Starbucks to the set.
“I make a “Bullet Coffee” at home in the morning — it’s coffee, two shots of espresso and a tablespoon of ghee and then a packet of collagen powder,” Kelly told The Cut last year, then revealing that her Starbucks is a latte.
“Then I will have a half a coffee after the show wraps. I have a great energy level,” she added.
