Brandi Redmond‘s mother-in-law, Jill Marie Redmond, tragically died in a car accident earlier this month and in a recent post shared to her Instagram page, the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast member confirmed her nine-year-old daughter, Brinkley Redmond, was also involved in the fatal collision.
“My husband [Bryan Redmond]’s beautiful mom has gone on to be with our Savior,” Brandi confirmed to her fans and followers on Saturday, October 10, amid filming on the upcoming season of their Bravo reality show.
Brandi Redmond Asks For Prayers For Her Family
As Brandi’s statement to her online audience continued, the reality star and mother of three, who also shares an older daughter and young son with husband Bryan, requested that her followers keep her and her family in their prayers as they attempt to cope with Jill’s death, as well as the trauma sustained by Brinkley.
“I PLEASE ask that you keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time and I ask that you lift my sweet Brinkley up as she continues to heal and that God protects her heart and eyes from this tragedy,” Brandi wrote.
Brandi Redmond Is Thankful For Brinkley’s Life
While Brandi and her family are understandably devastated by the sudden loss of Bryan’s mom, the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast member said she’s also very thankful that their daughter came out of the wreck with her life.
“I am so thankful for her life. This is probably the most thankful yet pain I’ve ever felt,” Brandi explained.
With her post, which included a photo of Jill and her kids, Brandi included a message that was originally shared by one of her sisters-in-law.
Brandi Redmond’s Mother-In-Law Raised Four Children
“This is our mom, Jill Marie Redmond. We spoke to her daily. To speak of her in past tense hurts beyond words,” Brandi’s sister-in-law wrote. “Hours ago we lost her in a tragic car accident. Thank you, Jesus, for saving our niece who was in the car with her. To know our mom was to love her. She was a shining light to all who were lucky enough to know her. She loved so fiercely. She felt so deeply. And she loved Jesus with all her heart. Her world was FAMILY. She loved her 4 children and many grand babies to the depths of her soul, and she left us doing what she loved most- caring for her grand babies. We are in shock and are experiencing an indescribable pain.”
‘RHOD’ Season Five Is Coming Soon
“In our mom’s honor, if you have a living parent please tell them how much you love and appreciate them, and hug your loved ones extra tight tonight and always. We love you. Shine bright and spread love and kindness,” her statement continued.
Brandi and her cast mates are expected to return to Bravo in the fifth season of “The Real Housewives of Dallas” at some point later this year or early next year. As fans may have seen, filming began on the new season over the summer.
