Kelly Ripa just reminded the paparazzi that her recent 50th birthday is just a number. The “Live! With Kelly and Ryan” host, who straight-up said she has a “Peter Pan” body in 2019, was photographed at the start of the week while enjoying a Central Park stroll in NYC. Kelly, in the news of late both for turning 50 and hinting she might quit “Live!” was looking closer to 35 as she wore trendy, rolled-up denim, with the former actress’ youthful vibes proving full-on. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. Kelly, who told Parade last week that her goal is to “eventually get off camera,” failed to do here as she was chased by cameramen, with the images showing the “All My Children” alum making her way through New York City’s biggest green space.
Photos showed Kelly in summery, tight, and rolled-up jeans, with a simple white tee accessorized by matching sneakers and a dark blazer. The mom of three matched her jacket to a COVID-safe face mask, with a black leather backpack completing the look.
Click here for the snaps. Kelly, whose tiny waist recently attempted a donuts Guinness World Record – she broke one in 2019 with her ballerina challenge – has addressed her insanely youthful aspect. Last year, Kelly told The Cut:
“The more you exercise, the healthier it is. And I can be honest: My body looks like Peter Pan no matter what I do. I’ve never been a va-va-voom woman.”
Kelly then admitted to a love of SoulCycle and mentioned strolls through Central Park – exactly where she was photographed yesterday.
Kelly has been starring on the iconic “Live!” morning show since 2001, originally co-hosting with now-deceased Regis Philbin and now seen with 45-year-old side-kick Ryan Seacrest. The blonde has, however, admitted that her days on the breakfast set may be numbered.
“I’ve been writing a lot. So my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much,” she told Parade. More after the jump.
Kelly, who was recently shocked alongside Seacrest when the “Live!” coffee guy was seemingly replaced, then admitted that “American Idol” host Ryan is one of the reasons she’s staying put for now.
“I talk about this with Ryan all the time because I was really looking to retire like by now, but Ryan Seacrest is so fabulous to work with and he is such a good friend,” she said, adding: ” We’ve been friends for two decades, and I’ve got to tell you he is really such a draw to me there.”
