Dove Cameron‘s slinky, strappy, and insanely leggy green dress is now responsible for just under 3 million likes. The “Descendants” actress, 24, updated her Instagram ahead of the weekend with the classiest of shoots as she posed in a satin and emerald-green dress with a dangerous thigh slit – flashing a little flesh is nothing new for the former Disney star who actually removed her bikini top on Instagram this summer while stating that “public nudity is illegal.” Dove’s update also showed off her famous snake tattoo. Check it all out below.
Scroll for the photos. Dove, followed by 37.8 million and recently admitting that everything in her house is green via her Vogue Beauty Secrets reveal, had posed looking effortlessly gorgeous. The former Disney star, showcasing her endlessly-long legs in a hiked-up dress attracting “Tinkerbell” comments, was sitting in an ordinary wicker chair. The finish was anything but regular, though.
Dove, showing off her snake ankle tattoo and hints of a strappy pink sandal, posed braless with a classy finish, captioning one photo with a flying bird emoji. “Ghost” was all Dove wrote for the second set of images.
Seemingly, the big debate in the comments section as the Emmy-winning actress and singer had fans battling it out. A giant chunk of replies mentioning cult book and TV series “Harry Potter” came in – “Slytherin vibes” was one of the most-liked comments, with others writing: “Sorry, but you are my Slytherin queen.”
From “Harry Potter” to something far simpler. A hugely-popular comment simply read: “Tinkerbell,” manifesting on both posts.
Dove is fresh from a giant Zoom quarantine interview seeing her open up on the snake tattoo. And she’s got advice.
Speaking to Byrdie about her late quarantine wake-ups, boyfriend-prepared smoothies, and the “not always pretty” side to self-care, Dove also addressed her body ink.
“I got this massive snake on my foot and ankle and it’s my biggest one yet. I’m really feeling it—she looks very cute in high heels. It hurt so bad though—if you’re going to get a tattoo on your foot or ankle, definitely take Ibuprofen”, she told the media outlet.
Dove isn’t getting her tattoos willy-nilly, though, having already gotten one in commemoration of deceased “Descendants” co-star Cameron Boyce.
Dove added that “it’s all tied into etymology stories of women being equated to the snake.”
“And the snake being equated to the underworld and all of the bad things, and a way to shame women into being unsexual or anti-expressive with their bodies or just demure,” she added.
Dove has an estimated 11 tattoos including a gun with a rose on her wrist, one commemorating her dad who passed when she was 15, plus an “Immortal” inking on her right wrist.
