Could Pete Davidson’s ‘SNL’ career be in jeopardy?

Well, given the Omicron variant of COVID-19 it could be, and it appears Pete is taking advantage of this free time off.

The comedian met up with his beau-thing over the weekend in his home city of Staten Island, New York.

Kim Kardashian looked exceptionally happy to be reunited with her boyfriend.

The two have not been spotted out together in a hot minute, but that all changed on Saturday, December 18 when the two were seen going on a date to the movies.

You might be asking yourself, ‘How in the world did he get off of work from “Saturday Night Live” on a Saturday?’

Unfortunately, the hit sketch comedy show was hit by a COVID-19 outbreak.

The outbreak forced the show to go on without a live audience or musical guest.

The iconic late-night show patched together some live bits with a limited cast and crew. ‘SNL’ also aired sketches recorded earlier in the week as well as pre-recorded favorites from past years.

The new couple arrived to The Atrium Theater around 7 PM. Scott Disick was photographed with Kim and Pete.

It’s unclear what movie they saw, but given how successful “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has been during its opening weekend, we’re going to guess that’s what they bought tickets to.

Earlier in the day on Saturday, Pete was seen going into a Manhattan hotel where Kim is reportedly staying.

Pete arrived with Disick around 6 PM, which led many to believe he would not be attending ‘SNL’ rehearsals at 8 PM.

Kim and Pete’s romance has completely baffled the masses, and despite all odds, the two continue to fuel the relationship rumor mill.

The last time the couple was spotted together, Pete was sporting a massive hickey on his neck compliments of KKW herself.

Kim is officially still legally married to Kanye ‘Ye’ West, but she made her intentions very clear when she filed to be legally separated and have ‘West’ dropped from her last name a week ago.

According to latest court documents obtained by The Blast, she is standing firm on wanting to move forward from the seven year marriage, and officially become a single woman.

They state that “No counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time.” She also added that “irreconcilable differences” have been common among her and Kanye, so divorce is the best option at this point.

These documents also state that Kanye hasn’t been responding to the divorce paperwork sent to him, from Kim. This has been evident in Kanye claiming in recent interviews that he hasn’t received any documentation.

“Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [Kanye] and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down. I have been attempting to settle our dissolution with [Kanye] since I filed for divorce in February 2021. I have requested several times that [Kanye] agree to bifurcate and terminate our marital status. [He] has not responded to my request. [Kanye] and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted,” Kim noted in the legal docs.
