Savannah Chrisley just got straight-up bullied by her own Instagram followers – uncalled for and unwarranted, fans would likely agree, as the 23-year-old updated her Instagram with a stylish shout-out to HBO series “Sex & The City.” The “Chrisley Knows Best” star, herself a giant fashionista, was shouting out the ’90s TV show’s iconic Carrie Bradshaw character with her Friday night update.
Savannah, snazzily outfitted in leopard-prints and Gucci, now sees a storm over in the comments section. It’s even brought in dad Todd Chrisley. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Savannah, followed by 2.2 million, had updated from an outdoor entryway and at night – glitz and glam all-around for the Southern Belle as she posed with hip-placed hands and flaunting her teeny tiny waist in a Gucci-belted and leopard-print midi dress.
The photo, also showing the SASSY by Savannah cosmetics founder’s stunning smile, came complete with Gucci heeled sandals, a floor-placed bag, plus the all-important caption.
“Feelin a little like Carrie Bradshaw this evening…??♀️? @sarahjessicaparker,” Savannah wrote.
Keep scrolling for the photo. The comments section has turned ugly. While real estate mogul dad Todd leads the way, telling his daughter she’s way “prettier…sorry Carrie,” a comment gaining likes has since near-taken over.
“Carrie Bradshaw … Sorry there’s is no comparison.. she’s a A list actress for over 3 decades not a reality show girl,” the troll wrote.
It hasn’t gone unnoticed. Fans are lashing back. “Negativity isn’t wanted here. Savannah is a beautiful successful woman. Stop hating,” one wrote. But it’s 51-year-old Todd who’s been garnering attention with his fierce clap-back.
Todd has gained over 350 likes for writing: “Well thank you for saying such nice things prior to this post, I apologize if I offended you for offending me.”
Savannah, fresh from both her breakup from now-ex Nic Kerdlies and undergoing her third endometriosis surgery, appears to have stayed silent. The star has been making headlines for promising her cosmetics line will drop before Christmas, even sneak peeking the yellow-packaged Full Face palette fans can expect. That Carrie Bradshaw photo just kept on bringing comments, though.
Fans have also been pointing out that the Carrie Bradshaw character embodied by Sarah Jessica Parker from 1998-2004 is fictional.
“Carrie Bradshaw is a fictional character.??? Now if you are referring to the A list actress that played Ms. Bradshaw, then maybe you want to get your thoughts together before trying to insult someone,” one user wrote, with many others agreeing.
“No, Carrie Bradshaw isn’t an A list actress, she is a fictional tv character. Savanna’s style in this pic is def giving Carrie Bradshaw vibes,” another added.
