Britney Spears can’t be left in peace. The pop princess, 38, updated her Instagram on Monday with a revealing and figure-flaunting video she claimed was “before” a barbecue with boyfriend Sam Asghari, with the singer’s 26.4 million followers seeing her cheekily tugging down her tiny shorts to show off her enviable waistline. Feedback on Britney’s Instagram these days follows a pattern, though, with fans either dragging the Grammy winner out over alleged recycled posts or, seemingly, pitying her amid her conservatoship battles. Check it out below.

Britney, this year repeatedly called out for posting similar looks in similar settings – a red, white, or yellow wall turned backyard-style with warmer months – had posed outdoors while The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” played. The mom of two, flaunting her ripped abs and wearing a tiny patterned crop top and her shorts tugged down, was looking happy and healthy.
A caption read: “This is from before a barbecue at my house with my boyfriend ….sorry @samasghari …. gotta dance real quick before we eat ??????????♀️?♀️?♀️?♀️??????!!!!”

“It’s the someone else controlling your life and phone for me,” a popular comment read, with another asking if Spears ever comes “out of the house??? And post normal things like a shopping trip or going out for a meal???”
Britney, who is rarely photographed out but was snapped being chauffeured in an SUV over July, was also told that her tiny shorts have gone out of style, with one user simply replying: “No. Not your boyfriend. Paid model.”
Britney, who called herself “authentic” in July and has since explained that her peasant blouse worn “17 times” is part of photography project “Project Rose,” has also been appearing with her personal trainer boyfriend. The two goofed around in selfies this month, but #FreeBritney isn’t backing down. The movement also pitied Spears recently as she wished her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston a happy birthday.
Britney’s posts are undeniably repetitive. However, with a clap-back from the singer as she told fans to expect “more” of the backyard action and floral crowns, fans now have an explanation. They aren’t buying it, though, particularly with the singer’s 2008-commenced conservatorship now extended through February 2021.
“Her boyfriend is clearly controlling all this. Scary,” a user replied.
“Britney, where is your friends?” another added, seemingly pitying a life that shows the singer regularly kept company – by her boyfriend, however, not friends.
