Danica Patrick Reveals Shocking Fire Damage On Her Vineyard! See The Pics
Danica Patrick, best known for her time as a NASCAR driver and frequent face of GoDaddy web hosting, has been in and out of the news lately. The 38-year-old legendary driver has branched into business successfully as a winemaker and social media influencer sporting a respectable 779k followers on Instagram alone.
This, and the fact that she’s been spending much more time with family, has been the primary reason that she hasn’t been in the news as much recently. The last major story on Danica was about her divorce with Aaron Rogers.
Oddly enough, while Patrick is still very relevant in the news, she’s made headlines for a rather depressing reason today after posting pictures of her beloved vineyard getting burned down by the local wildfires.
She shared many photos of the recent destruction and included some old photos which showed what the land looked like before. Needless to say, the devastation is massive, causing an incredible loss of money and business potential.
She included a lengthy caption explaining how she literally broke down crying at the sight of it all.
“I have been thinking a lot about what the lesson is in the fire that came through my property last night.
I finally cried this morning at the idea that something I have spent so much time, money, effort, passion, patience, and did I mention money, on….. could just be gone. The dirt is still there but it’s almost impossible to get insurance because of how many fires have come through. Thanks a lot for that. So it will require the next level of all of those things I have already invested.”
‘Been A Journey’
Danica continued by sharing how the first photos are the older ones, and the latter ones are the current state of her vineyard and land.
“The second picture is me 10 years ago when we had just started the planting process. There was a lot of rock on the land. Man has it been a journey!”
She did in fact clarify that her house is still alright, and that the damage wasn’t quite as severe as was first projected. That being said, damage has still been done, so she and her crew have work to do.
‘Sense Of Perspective’
Danica’s followers rose to give their condolences and heartfelt feelings over the matter in the comment section. Here are some of the top comments.
“To have that type of perspective takes a special kind of human. It is difficult to find the good in bad situations but you did. Invest in the Midwest, Michigan has some of the best wineries in the states. Something tells me until major changes are made in CA this is gonna be a regular occurrence.” (Commentator)
“You have a remarkable sense of perspective. If only more of us had that in these challenging times….and of course more wine.” (Commentator)
