Kelly Ripa's Teenage Daughter Stuns In Mom's Awkward Instagram Post

Kelly Ripa's 19-year-old daughter is all over Instagram right now. Lola Grace Consuelos appeared on both her mom's Instagram and the "Live!" account this weekend – National Daughter Day wasn't going to be ignored by 49-year-old Kelly, for whom Lola is her only daughter. The talk show queen, also a mom to sons Joaquin and Michael with "Riverdale" actor husband Mark Consuelos, updated her account on Friday night. She shouted out Lola who was looking stunning, but something about the caption now sees the post turning #awkward. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo – snaps of Lola aren't exactly plentiful right now. The NYU student, who had her entire Instagram on lock-down until late 2019, wiped her IG clean this summer, with the account now only showing one post.

The photo, which was shared to Lola's stories earlier this month, showed her smiling and seated at an outdoor terrace with a waiter seen scurrying in the background. Lola wearing a graphic motel tee in black and tight jeans, was looking drop-dead gorgeous.

"Happy #nationaldaughterday to this powerhouse ♥️ @theyoungestyung thank you for choosing me to be your mom."

Nobody had a problem with the level of love – Lola herself even replied: "I love you so much! ❤️❤️" – but Kelly saying her daughter chose her is seemingly the source of the storm. And Lola is proving that she's inherited her mom's clap-back streak.

The fan questioning Kelly's caption wrote: "How did she choose you to be her mom? Isn’t that the result of your [sic] and mark?"

Fans have been weighing in on the former "All My Children" actress and her hunky husband. One fan, backing the concept, replied:

"Ancient believes and even early Christians believe that the spirit choose their parents to be born in to this world, it was all part of a plan, it's actually beautiful to believe that."

Kelly and her entire family are fresh from fronting People magazine's first ever Family Issue, with Kelly gushing all over her daughter. In fact, Kelly even admitted she'd "sit there naked" if she had Lola's figure. Lola, meanwhile, remains "disgusted" at the thirst trap photos Kelly posts of husband Mark.
