Teddi Mellencamp Confirms She's Been Fired From 'RHOBH'

By Ryan Naumann

Teddi Mellencamp is speaking out for the first time after reports claimed she was fired from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

The former reality star posted a video message on her Instagram. She captioned the post, “You heard it here last 😂 Yes, it’s true, I am not coming back to #RHOBH. Thank you to @bravotv, @evolutionusa, @bravoandy and all of the amazing women for the support (and the shade) for the past three years. Back to the shadows I go 🤪”

In the video, Teddi is seen hanging with her baby Dove. She spoke to the camera telling fans, “I don’t want to BORE you, but I figured I could give you a little update on what’s going on. I recently found out that my contract as a Housewives is not being renewed.

The reality star continued, “of course, I could give you the standard response of “we both came to the decision that it would be best”, nah, I’m not going to do that. That’s not who I am. Of course, when I got the news, I was sad. It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast and crew. You get to do incredible things that you probably never get to experience without the show.”

She ended, “ that being said I’m really looking forward to the future. And being able to focus on my family, my friends, All In. I really feel like I have some exciting things ahead. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me. And I’ll see you soon.”

Teddi’s announcement comes days after Daily Mail broke the story of her being axed. A source told the outlet, “The network has not been impressed with her performance on the show. They considered cutting her last season but gave her one last chance.”

The source added, “She is boring and stale and does not offer anything to the franchise with her robotic and staged delivery when interacting with the other cast members. The issue is, the other cast members don’t particularly like her and beyond Kyle, no one is friends with her.”

Teddi starred on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for three seasons. Bravo’s decision to cut Teddi comes as the controversy over her fitness program continues to grow. Former clients accuse the ex-reality star of putting them on 500 calories a day diets.
