Christopher Noth, aka “Mr. Big,” is in BIG trouble.
The actor, who recently reprised his role as John “Mr. Big” Preston, is thwarting off headlines claiming he sexually assaulted two women.
The shocking news broke on Thursday via The Hollywood Reporter.
Two women, whose identities have been protected with the use of pseudonyms, came forward with their stories of alleged sexual assault and rape involving Noth.
Mr. Big is facing BIG allegations
It’s important to note, these alleged incidents happened in two different locations and over a decade apart.
One incident reportedly happened at a West Hollywood building in Los Angeles, CA. in 2004.
The other alleged assault happened at his Greenwich Village apartment in New York City in 2015.
Zoe (now 41) claims she was sexually assaulted by Noth in 2004, and Lily (now 31) claims he sexually assaulted her in 2015.
Both women approached THR this year at different times, and claim to not know one another.
Zoe and Lily said “promotions and press reports of HBO Max’s “Sex and the City” sequel series “And Just Like That,” in which Noth reprises his role as Mr. Big, stirred painful memories of incidents.”
The 'SATC' reboot triggered his alleged victims
"Their stories have drastic differences, but there is one chilling similarity in both stories.
Both women claim Noth forced himself on them from behind, and sexually assaulted them in front of a mirror.
The ‘SATC’ actor issued a statement on Thursday, December 16.
In a statement to THR, Noth said, “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”
Chris Noth denies sexual assault and rape allegations
Zoe said that back in 2014, she met Noth while working at a high-profile firm where he and other celebrities regularly had business.
She claimed he would leave her voicemails on her work phone, and that he invited her to his WeHo apartment building to hang out by the pool.
She obliged, and it just so happened she had a friend that lived in the same building.
Zoe claimed they went into the hot tub and Noth had a book with him. He asked her to look at it before stepping out to take a call in his apartment.
Before the call, Noth reportedly asked Zoe to bring the book back to his apartment.
That is when the unthinkable happened.
Chris lured a woman into his apartment
Zoe alleges he kissed her without asking, as she said, “Thank you, I’m going back to my friend,” he pulled her toward him, moved her toward the bed, pulled off her shorts and bikini bottom, and began to rape her from behind while facing a mirror.
“It was very painful and I yelled out, ‘Stop!’” she says. “And he didn’t. I said, ‘Can you at least get a condom?’ and he laughed at me,” she recalled.
Lily on the other hand reportedly met Noth while working at the now-closed New York City nightclub, No. 8.
She recalled him asking her out on a date to Il Cantinori for dinner; however, when she got there the kitchen had already closed.
The two drank wine and proceeded to go back to his apartment building where he said they could drink whiskey.
“I thought, ‘We’re going to drink whiskey and talk about his acting career.’ It sounds so stupid,” she said.
A woman alleges Noth forced himself upon her
Lily recalled Noth pulling down his pants and forcing his genitals into her mouth.
“He was having sex with me from the back in a chair. We were in front of a mirror. I was kind of crying as it happened,” she revealed.
When the assault was over, Lily said, “I went to the bathroom and put on my skirt. I was feeling awful. Totally violated. All of my dreams with this star I loved for years were gone.”
Noth maintains his innocence.
