Witness Claims Megan Thee Stallion Fought Friend Before Alleged Shooting

Tory Lanez attended his preliminary hearing on Tuesday, for his legal case involving him allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion last summer. One of the most interesting developments was LAPD Detective Ryan Stogner claiming that Tory told Megan "Dance, b*tch," before allegedly firing shots at her feet.

One person who was said to be in the same car as Tory and Megan that night was Kelsey Nicole. Kelsey had been a close friend of Megan's at the time. Tory's legal team claims that she and Megan had argued that night, due to Kelsey supposedly being jealous of a speculated romantic relationship between Meg and Tory.

According to TMZ, an argument wasn't the only thing that ensued between Megan and Kelsey that night in Hollywood Hills. The two allegedly began fighting, and that came "moments" before Megan was allegedly shot by Tory.

This information ended up being revealed by an independent witness, to police. The muzzle flash on gun that Tory supposedly used, was also said to have gone off closer to Kelsey than Megan.

Tory's attorney, Shawn Holley, has since gone on to address the gun in question. It was claimed that that the muzzle flash detail actually  involved Kelsey.

 [Muzzle flash detail] is "corroborated by the gunshot residue found on the other female's hands. It was further established that Megan gave several inconsistent accounts of what happened that night and that she omitted key information to the police."

The initial reports of the Tory and Megan incident claimed that Megan injured her foot, by stepping in glass. Megan later went on to explain on Instagram Live that this was said out of fear for police shooting Tory. This was due to the political climate at the time, surrounding police brutality on Black men.

Attorney Shawn Holley also believes that the glass situation was actually the case. Holley is confident that Megan's claims will be disproven at the official trial date, on January 13.

"We look forward to the opportunity to cross examine her at trial about the numerous inconsistencies in her story.”

Tory is also very confident that the information that his attorney attorney provided in court, proves his innocence. On Tuesday, night, the Toronto rapper took to Twitter to question the claims made by the LAPD Detective about him. Tory believes that false information has since been spread to social media.

"NAH … i need someone to REPORT what was REALLY said in court today, 45 minutes of my lawyer stating contradictory evidence that proves my innocence should never come back as one false story forced to the media."
