Britney Spears shimmying her smokeshow body just came with a promise. The 38-year-old princess of pop vowed she’d be both getting “sweatier” and getting her hair “wilder” as she dropped another of her legendary home dance moves last night.
Britney, followed by 26.3 million on Instagram and currently battling her 2008-commenced conservatorship, continues to spark concern – fans largely fear the star is being controlled, although mental health concerns have also manifested of late. Check out the latest video below.
Scroll for the video. It came as the standard barefoot living room dance that the “Oops…I Did It Again!” singer’s fans are familiar with. Britney, working her rock-hard body in a black lace bra and matching shorts, chose Madonna’s “Justify My Love” for her music, also flipping her blonde hair around, then adding a caption:
“Ok…his is my next project “Just a Touch of Red“ …. get it …. RED ROSE ?? ??? Ps way more of RED to COME … my hair will get a little wilder and my body a little sweatier ❤️?? !!!”
Britney, once trolled with cruel mental health remarks, now sees a softer, but nonetheless very concerned approach – 68-year-old father Jamie Spears controls his daughter’s finances and other aspects of her life, with Spears last month losing her bid to end her conservatorship. It’s extended until 2021.
Fans, who have deemed Spears’ Instagram a setup, are now once again worrying, both on the control front and the mental health one. “You’re either losing your mind or being controlled. I can’t tell at this point,” a fan wrote. Over 1,100 users drove the reply up to the top. More after the video.
Britney, whose repetitive 2020 posts have seen fans repeatedly asking her to wear red if she’s in danger, now sees her followers assuming the caption-mentioned “Red” is a sign.
“I swear someone commented on her last post to wear RED if she’s in trouble….and now this,” a user replied.
Britney is fresh from clapping back at allegations that her posts are old. She jokingly admitted to wearing the “same top 17 times,” then returning for the 18th appearance as she stated none of her posts are more than a month old.
While Spears has confirmed backing the #FreeBritney movement, the singer has not appreciated suggestions that her handlers are controlling her social media. In July, she called herself “authentic,” with a more recent video saying: “Yes, I know. I did wear the same top 17 times, but it’s for a project – Project Rose. And you will be seeing way more of Project Rose in the future.”
Roses, often seen in Spears’ hair and abstract posts, are now confirmed as part of photography project “Project Rose.” The Grammy winner’s legal battles continue, with the latest seeing Spears’ parents reportedly at war over their daughter.
