Britney Spears has sparked wide-spread panic on her Instagram – sadly, nothing new for the singer whose 26.3 million followers remain convinced she isn’t the one posting. Britney, who continues to fight her 2008-commenced conservatorship and sees 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears controlling her finances and other aspects of her life, is fresh from dropping two home dance videos.
Britney updated her Instagram on Friday. A video showing “hot mess” hair was followed by a skimpy undies dance – while the latter clocked more views, the former is sparking the worry. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. It came as the standard from the “Toxic” singer, recently in the news as her conservatorship is extended through February 2021. Britney was home in her L.A. mansion, working her smokeshow body, and twirling around in tiny yellow-patterned shorts, a black sports bra, and no shoes or socks. A caption from the star opened:
“Yes…I know I’m barefoot and my hair is once again a hot mess !!!! If you only knew what it’s like dancing in heels ? every night in Vegas and spending hours getting my hair and makeup perfect …”
Spears continued: “Only then would you understand why my feet go to the holy ground whenever they can ??? and how free my hair feels with no hairspray ?♀️?♀️?♀️? !!!!”
The video, now sitting at over 800,000 views, has been sparking the usual accusations – that Spears’ Instagram is a setup, her “handlers” are controlling the content, and the videos aren’t, as Britney continues to maintain, new.
“How much longer is this going to go on before we all DO SOMETHING” is the top-rated comment. More after the video.
Another fan, meanwhile, wrote: “It hurts my heart that you feel you have to constantly explain yourself to strangers. Live your life for you.”
That comment is likely geared towards Britney’s repeat and recent clap-backs as she insists that her content, which proves highly repetitive, isn’t old.
“So, a lot of people have been saying that a lot of my posts are not new but they’re old, but just to let you guys know, none of my pictures or posts are more than a month old.”
Britney kicked off 2020 shot against a red wall, then a white one, then a yellow one, with more recent shots including the singer’s backyard. Fans, spotting the peasant blouse in repeat images and videos, have alleged a 29-count appearance of the clothing item, with Britney recently stating she knows she wore the “same top 17 times.” The reason for the backyard images seeing her with a flower crown is, per the singer, “Project Rose”: a photography project.
Britney then updated with a semi-joke over the 18th peasant blouse appearance. #FrerBritney isn’t backing down, though.
