Louisiana rapper, NBA Youngboy, released his sophomore album, 'Top' today which is led by singles such as "All In," "Callin" featuring Snoop Dogg and "Kacey Talk." This also becomes his third project of 2020 which solidifies him as one of the most consistent rappers in the game. Youngboy initially announced this album in mid-August as fans anxiously awaited for Youngboy to come through and deliver more heat as he's been one of the hottest rappers out since December 2017. He blew up after the release of his 'AI Youngboy' mixtape.

Fans have since approved of this project as they think Youngboy does better with every project and continues to provide plenty of material. The "My Window" collaboration with Wayne is starting to build momentum as well as this features two Louisiana superstars. Fans who have streamed the album have expressed how Youngboy has started to gain even more versatility in his music in balancing street records and even harmonizing on a myriad of songs as well. Many are encouraging people to keep streaming so Top can become another No. 1 album for him.

Top has a very good chance of landing the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart next week as for this weekend, it will be between Big Sean's 'Detroit 2' album and Tekashi 6ix9ine's 'Tattle Tales' album. Sean is expected to gain the top spot easily as 6ix9ine's sales have not been what everyone thought they's be. Juts last week, he was expected to claim the top spot, not Sean. Youngboy had the only major released this week so he is sitting comfortably.

Youngboy's other two projects in 2020 have done extremely well, too. '38 Baby 2' was released in April as it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. There were no lead singles but fans were quickly impressed by the "Thug Of Spades" collaboration with DaBaby. In February, Youngboy released his 'Still Flexin Still Steppin' mixtape which was well-received as well and landed at No. 2 on this chart. This was led by the singles "Bad Bad", "Knocked Off" and "Fine by Time".

Youngboy's massive 2020 success was also led by his 'AI Youngboy 2' project in October. That project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was released as an album as opposed to a mixtape like the first one in 2017. Youngboy has been able to stay out of legal trouble lately as well in May of 2019, he was arrested in Miami at the time of the Rolling Loud festival. He was allegedly involved in the shooting between his and Tee Grizzley's entourage. That violated his probation and landed him in prison for a few months. Now, Youngboy continues to post huge numbers with every release as usual.
