Kanye West is still attempting to run for president despite the fact that he's missed deadlines to appear on states ballots and has been kicked off other ballots due to the lack of validity of signatures he submitted. He is taking a short break now though as last night, Ye caught the NBA playoff game between the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics were Toronto won in two overtimes and forced a Game 7 on Friday. West was watching this very exciting game with his friend on his TV which is 100 feet. It's so huge that many fans felt that Ye had the experience of being in-person at an NBA game again. He definitely makes time to watch basketball when he can as he was also a big fan of the late Kobe Bryant.

"Everyone in our life is now a member of the Lakers on one of Kobe’s championship teams," West said to GQ in an April interview. "The way that Kobe would say that we all have to come together and win this championship is the way I look at life now.

Fans on Twitter were happy that West was able to join them in this excitement as many expected Celtics-Raptors to be a competitive series The Celtics are a new contender in the Eastern Conference while the Raptors are the defending NBA champions. They don't have Kawhi Leonard anymore but are still playing exceptionally well as they finished second in the East with a 53-19 record. Nick Nurse also has a very high probability of winning the Coach of the Year award.

West is a native of Chicago and likely a Bulls fan as well so he will have to wait for his squad to hopefully make the playoffs next season. The last time they reached the postseason was back in 2017 where they fell to the Celtics. As far as his Kobe ties, many remember when West was at his final NBA game in April of 2016 when he poured in 60 points. West was also wearing a customized "I feel like Kobe" shirt.

West is also making new headlines for part 2 of his appearance on Nick Cannon's 'Cannon's Class' podcast. He made the bold claim that he interrupted Taylor Swift's 2009 VMAs speech to support Beyoncé because God put him in the front row. He also added that Bernie Sanders had rejected his request to have a meeting together. West did reveal that he is open to meeting Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden though as he would do this meeting for anyone and because "Jesus loves everybody."
