Kathie Lee Gifford Is Set To Be A Grandmother: 'I Am Over A Blue Or Pink Moon!!!'

Kathie Lee Gifford is on her way to becoming a grandmother for the first time, and she could not be more thrilled!

This expected baby whose gender is yet unknown belongs to Kathie's son Cody and his wife, Erika Brown.

The soon-to-be grandmother cannot wait to hold the newborn in her arms and does not have any gender preferences for the incoming member.

On Monday, December 13, Kathie took to her Instagram page to announce to the public that she was set to become a grandmother.

The French-American star uploaded a clip with information that Cody and his wife Erika will be first-time parents in June 2022.

The "Then Came You" actress gushed in the captions, "I am over a blue or pink moon! I don't care which," showing her unbiased love for the growing addition to her family.

The touching video showed a wedding dance featuring the expectant parents before cutting to a pregnancy test result that came out positive. 

Hailey Reinhart rendered "I Can't Help Falling In Love'' in the clip's background that ends with the baby's June 2022 due date and a James 1:17 scripture quote.

Kathie continued that she was full of happiness for Erika and her family, ending with "Praise our Living and Loving God!"

The mother-to-be replied to the heartwarming display of love and support with "We all love you so much, GLAMMA ? ??????.." 

Fans and friends also showered the post with congratulations. A well-wisher noted, "There is no love like a love for a grandchild. Congratulations, Glamma @kathielgifford." 

A follower penned, "Congratulations to the family! Joy! Joy! Joy," while another wrote, "Omg! Cody is going to be a Daddy! Congratulations to Cody and his bride!"

Erika updated her Instagram followers with the good news of her pregnancy and shared the same sweet video Kathie uploaded. The "Dexter'' actress' caption read:

"✨Gifford… Party of 3 ? | So sooo grateful to God for this greatest blessing ???."

The "LA Stories" star will be having no gender reveal party as is common today because she and her husband agreed to take a classic route.

Erika and Cody will find out the baby's gender the old-fashioned way when the "lil squish" arrives into the world.

The sweet news was well-received by viewers. In the comments section, Jason Kennedy sent three red hearts while sister-in-law Cassidy confessed that she loves the "squish" so much already.

In 2020, Kathie's second child Cassidy married her longtime beau Ben Weirda. Sadly, her dream celebration was reduced to an 18-guests affair due to the pandemic.

The Blast shared that the "Caged No More" actress had a second four-day wedding bash in October with 180 guests in attendance.

The mother-of-two told PEOPLE her 28-year-old daughter sported a stunning lace wedding dress at the event held in Acme. The property belonged to the  68-year-old's pen pal Tom Morales.

The "Time Trap" actress also posted a monochrome photo of her breathtaking wedding dress and her handsome partner during the momentous occasion.
