Kaley Cuoco has literally been walking the streets of New York City in a cartoon nightie. The “Big Bang Theory” actress, who this year deemed her Amazon nightgowns an “essential item,” was photographed in the Big Apple over Labor Day Weekend in her beloved sleepwear – Kaley, 34, near-lives in nightshirts, having already made 2020 headlines for the unicorn nightshirt she owns.
Kaley is in NYC to complete shooting of her upcoming HBO Max series “The Flight Attendant.” Check out the leggy look and TV series news below.
Scroll for the street snaps, plus a video Kaley posted to Instagram showing the nightie off. The above nightie was dubbed “awesome” by the sitcom star – yours for $26 on Amazon.
The shots showed Kaley up and about early and taking chihuhuaha Dumptruck Dumpy out for some fresh air. Kaley, seen in the thigh-skimming llama nightie, also wore a black jacket to keep herself warm, plus pink flip-flops. She was photographed makeup-free, also wearing a protective white face mask.

In 2019, the actress wore one to a formal event, with 2020 bringing a joking statement as Kaley told her 6.1 million Instagram followers that she “only rehearses in nightgowns.” Anyone watching Kaley’s “A Cup of Cuoco” Instagram series will have spotted her sheep nightie, with the star’s IG also showing fans her “delicious” strawberry one this year.
And there have been interviews. This year, Kaley showed Conan O’Brien the “1800s nightgown” she grocery shops in. More after the video.
Kaley’s NYC travels come as a two-month stint. “The Flight Attendant,” also seeing Kaley as an executive producer, had filmed six out of eight episodes prior to the pandemic pause, with a recent “A Cup of Cuoco” episode seeing the girl behind Penny confirm that fans can expect the show in November. “The Flight Attendant” brings Kaley playing Cassandra Bowden, a woman who wakes up hungover in a Dubai hotel room – and with a dead body next to her.
Kaley is fresh from speaking to Us Weekly about “The Flight Attendant” – the series is based on a book with the same name.
“When I read the book description, I got a chill down my arms. It felt like a good mix of drama and dark comedy. Plus, a complicated female character is a dream role,” she said.
“I love making people laugh, but it’s been an incredible experience working my dramatic muscles,” Kaley added.
The show will also feature 31-year-old sister Briana, whom fans may remember from a 2013 episode of “Big Bang.”
