Later, she was the National Co-Chair of the Hispanic Advisory Council for John McCain and Jon Huntsman Jr. in 2008 and 2012.

Recently, Micheal B. Jordan appeared on "The View," and she got a kiss from the actor. This roused a lot of reactions from fans and admirers as they all had something to say about it.
Backstory
The commentator sparked a lot of reactions from her fans when she posted a video of herself and the actor on Instagram. The actor came on the show to promote his book, and Navarro used that opportunity to make a Reel video with him.
"Eat your heart out," Navarro exclaimed with Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" playing in the background.
It wasn't long before she posted it that fans commented on their reactions.
"Gurrrrrrrrrrrrl would not wash that cheek!!!!!" a fan replied.
"He is so handsome!! He makes a great couple with his girlfriend… I wish them the best!!" a follower added.
"Ana!!! Living everyone's dream lol first the flowers, now this," an Instagram user said.
"Never wash your cheek, Ana!!!" another fan added.
"That's cute, @ananavarrofl, but won't @ricky_martin get jealous?" another follower mentioned.
"I was wondering where you were during his interview. Now I know you were waiting patiently outside to see your friend," another Instagram user observed.

Navarro Needs All The Laughter She Can Get
Anyone who has been a long-time fan of the political commentator knows that she's living a tough time at the moment. Her mother has been ill, and her prognosis hasn't been hopeful. However, on her father's birthday, they received what was referred to as a supernatural phenomenon.

"We've been expecting my mom to pass for over a week. My family has shed enough tears to water the Sahara. She hadn't eaten or drunk anything for a week and was pretty much comatose," Navarro announced in an Instagram post on November 28. "Then, yesterday, she opened her eyes and started eating a little and moving a little. I don't understand and don't want to get my hopes up. But my dad is elated and calling it his 'birthday miracle.' It's all up to God."
The co-host also added that her parents have been married for 60 years, and she's found it so touching seeing her father's "dedication and love" for his wife during this "difficult last chapter."
The Reason She Can't Go And See Her Mother
Although Navarro recently disclosed that she regretted not spending time with her mom when she was healthy, the commentator also mentioned that she didn't see her mom in the ICU for political reasons.
"Nicaraguan strongman Daniel Ortega has cracked down on members of the free press and his political opponents and critics. I am both things. Many have been indiscriminately jailed or disappeared. Many more have fled into exile," Navarro said in an Instagram post.

She also added that she's been in constant communication with her family despite all this. "It is a challenging time for my family. Like many people around the world who have not been able to visit sick loved ones during the pandemic, I use technology to keep in touch," she continued. "I FaceTime daily with my dad. He is usually at my mother's bedside. They've been married sixty years. It's been beautiful to see his love for her. Whenever she is awake and able to talk, I speak with her too."
Fans Respond With Well-Wishes
After she opened up on her current situation, fans quickly swarmed in with messages of hope and positivity for the co-host. There were also responses of fans urging her to go and see her mother regardless.
"I speak from experience. Be with your elderly mothers, especially now. You will regret it if you don't. There are NO do-overs," a fan suggested.
"You should go see her while she is still with you," a follower added.
"Go see your mom, now that you have been given a second chance before it is too late, blessings to you both and hugs," an Instagram user commented.
The co-host has since not given an update on the state of her mother's health since she last talked about it on "The View."
