Demi Lovato is slaying the tabloids with the amount of romance she’s showing off with her fiance Max Ehrich. The 28-year-old “Heartbreak” singer has had one of the most turbulent music careers over the last decade, but has rebounded in spectacular fashion. A better music manager, a more positive self image, and of course a fabulous relationship with a man who thinks the world of her has continued to drive Lovato’s popularity skyward.
The former Disney Channel star has not only captured the hearts of the media but of her social media followers too!
Demi’s latest Instagram story contained an entertaining exchange between herself and Max wherein she shared an image of herself with her groom-to-be. She shared that she hopes he will ignore her “double chin” but Ehrich romantically replied that he loves “every part of you baby”.
To which Demi replied by correcting herself telling Max to not ignore her double chin but to “appreciate it”. She followed this with an explanation for viewers that clarified that she only phrased it like that to help her “reprogram” her thinking about her body.
This isn’t the first time that Ehrich has complimented Demi as he frequently comments on her social media posts. Many of those posts include sexy snaps of her trying on different outfits with romantic captions these days.
“Making magic with bae ?✨?❤️” (Demi)
“you are magic baby ?? “ (Ehrich)
And although one will always see comments about when her next album is coming out and whether she intends to tour soon, Demi told Harpers Bazaar earlier this year that she feels her biggest mistake after her 2018 overdose was actually working too hard, so she isn’t in a rush.
“I would hate for a detail to become the headline when I’ve worked so hard for my music,”Demi said, “But I will say that I’ve really appreciated the patience the public has given me over the past year and a half to figure my s-t out, because I think the mistake I made when I was 18, when I went into treatment, was that I went back to work six months later.”
Lovato continued by explaining how she’s finally found love and is excited to move forward in her career with a renewed sense of self-love and purpose.
“I do feel that a lot of the way some of my life was handled and lived led to me kind of having a bit of a downfall, just because I was so overworked and I wasn’t dedicating enough time to my mental health or my personal life.”
Lovato has shared that she’s excited to put the record straight and start taking control of her life. She’s also shared how she is very happy to have taken several years off just to focus on herself despite many fans wishing for more music sooner.
