Britney Spears can easily make a headline for pulling down her micro shorts – in fall 2020, though, the 38-year-old singer can barely make a fashion or workout headline without seeing her 2008-commenced conservatorship factoring in. Britney this summer suffered another massive blow as 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears continues to control her finances and many other aspects of her life.
The “Toxic” singer has also had to put up with fans deeming her repetitive Instagram updates recycled and old – Britney’s video this week got busy shutting down the allegations. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. The above photo showing Spears in her peasant blouse was, just this week, alleged to be the 29th time the singer has appeared wearing it on her IG this summer – Britney, already calling herself “authentic” in July, has also posted time-stamped photos, plus verbatim said her images aren’t “old.”
The video came as a fashion display and with the same plainwall backdrop and tiny shorts finish that Britney seemingly adores. Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita” was playing as Spears paraded in and out of the frame, also tugging those hot pants and flaunting her hip tattoo in a very busy, leggy, and upbeat piece of footage.
A caption from Britney opened with her “great hair day” and her loving her top – “It’s one of my newer ones,” the singer wrote, also addressing recent backyard snaps showing her with flowers in her hair.
“Just so you know …. this was shot last month …. so were the pics with the flower crown …… yes I shot a lot of footage because I have been loving my hair these days ?♀️?♀️?♀️?????????? !!!!!!!”
The video, now topping 2.3 million views, has generated the usual response. Scroll for it.
Britney, herself in the news this month for stating that she backs the #FreeBritney movement, has yet to convince fans – as The Blast reported earlier this year, #FreeBritney has deemed her Instagram a setup, alleging that Britney’s 26.2 million followers are being fed content by the singer’s team. Britney is reported to not have an email address amid other limits placed by her conservatorship.
“The fact that they need to explain when the photos were taken makes it even worse,” one fan replied – over 1,200 others agreed.
Britney, this summer appearing in some candid moments during a masked beach date with boyfriend Sam Asghari and with the Iranian personal trainer joke-jumping his girlfriend to answer “where” she is, continues to receive the suspicious response.
“We need to see her Live, this is sinister, what are you doing to her? . We want to se Britney and make sure she is ok,” one fan wrote.
In August, Spears’ mother Jamie Lynn legally filed to have involvement in her daughter’s finances. Meanwhile, dad Jamie has called #FreeBritney both a “joke” and a “conspiracy theory.”
