A new member of the Duggar family is speaking out about Josh Duggar’s guilty verdict.
The disgraced reality TV star’s younger sister, Joy Duggar Forsyth, is in total agreement with the judicial system’s verdict.
On Sunday, December 12, Joy posted a message to her Instagram Story.
Josh’s sister reacts to his guilty verdict

“Over this last year, as you can imagine, there have been a lot of unanswered questions in our minds regarding Josh,” she started her message. “We were able to sit through the trial to hear the evidence for ourselves. We agree with the judicial system’s verdict and we are thankful for the men and women who work tirelessly to protect children and help prevent child sexual abuse material. Our hearts break for CSAM victims.”

On December 9, Josh was found guilty on both charges brought against him, and faces up to 20 years in prison.
Josh’s conviction has irreversibly tarnished the family name and “holier than thou” image.
TMZ shared that the former reality star is charged with one count each of receiving and possessing child pornography. If you weren’t disgusted enough, it was revealed that some of the images included minors 12 and under.
His sister, Jinger Duggar, took to social media as well to thank the judicial system.
“We are thankful to God for exposing Josh’s actions and to a legal system committed to protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty in this case. We are grateful for justice. We are praying for further justice, vindication, protection, and healing for all those who have been wronged,” she wrote.
Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, has been standing by her man since the beginning, and was even seen attending his last court appearance despite being heavily pregnant. The trial showed two sides of Duggar. On one hand, he is a local businessman who may have been manipulated and that’s how all that child porn ended up on three of his devices.

On the other hand, he has done this before and he may have just been trying to cover up his indiscretions… poorly. Prosecutors believe and argued that Duggar went out of his way to elaborate a plan to hide his dirty secret using his work devices to do so.
The “19 Kids and Counting” alum came under suspicion in 2019. A raid of his Arkansas car dealership came up shady. DHS agents seized Duggar’s computer, iPhone, and MacBook from an RV.
The trial lasted two weeks and included damning evidence against Duggar including testimony from forensic analysis. The trial also had witnesses including one from a family friend who shared that Duggar had confessed to them that he had been molesting children. The witness apparently broke down on the stand recounting the moment.
Josh’s family is grateful for justice

One day after Josh was found guilty, Joy’s sister, Jana, was charged with misdemeanor child endangerment.
Jana was charged with endangering the welfare of a child in Arkansas on September 9.
The county clerk told the Daily Mail they were not at liberty to say if the charge was connected to Josh.
She entered a plea deal and is expected to appear in the Washington County District court on January 10, the county clerk revealed.
Jana has no children of her own and is not married, making her the oldest Duggar child not married.
If found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child, she could face up to 30-90 days in jail.
