Amid the latest episode of the Bravo reality series, Garcelle shared a series of video clips on her Instagram Stories in which she reacted to Kyle accusing her of stiffing her charity and revealed what actually happened to the money she was supposed to submit.
“Hey guys, I want to take a few moments to say my piece, if you will,” Garcelle began.
“You guys know that I’m a straight-shooter. I say it like it is. I try to speak my truth always,” Garcelle continued. “I got called out at the [‘Real Houswives of Beverly Hills’ reunion] saying that I bid for a charity event and did not pay for it.”
According to Garcelle, she hopes that her fans and followers know that she would never intentionally stiff someone money, especially a charity.
“It fell through the cracks, innocently,” she explained, adding that her busy schedule in late 2019 impacted her ability to stay on top of things.
“I was traveling all over the world last year and it innocently fell through the cracks. Why wouldn’t I pay for something I bid on?” Garcelle asked.
Although Kyle may not have received the donation she expected, Garcelle did not intentionally keep the money from her charity. Instead, she simply forgot to make the donation after her bid.
Continuing on, Garcelle told her online audience members that because she felt that Kyle had attacked her character and her integrity, she felt the need to speak up and defend herself.
“This is my character. This is my integrity. I don’t play around when it comes to things like that,” Garcelle shared. “I wanted to set the record straight. I know the show is about drama but when it comes to who I am as a person, I don’t play around with things like that.”
“There. I said it. And now, let’s go on with the show!” she added.
Garcelle also addressed the matter on Twitter after a fan asked her if she had ultimately paid.
After a fan on Twitter wrote, “Ummm, did you pay or not? That video explains why it was delayed but you don’t confirm, if you paid,” Garcelle confirmed that she did make it right with the charity.
“Of course I paid,” she replied.
