Kristin Davis Says Show Biz Compares Her Age Group To Betty White

The Sex and the City stars have made it abundantly clear that they aren't necessarily too happy with the criticism that they've received for reprising the roles that they played in their 30s now in their 50s.
Sarah Jessica Parker was the first of the group to address the issue. When talk about her, sporting a more natural gray hair look sparked up some debate online. At the time she simply mentioned, "What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?” To be fair, plenty of people in Hollywood have made tons of efforts to stop aging with what we can call "mixed results". Kristin Davis is the latest Sex and the City alum to fire back at critics who are going after her for her appearance on the new series spin off "And Just Like That ..."
The Stars Of Sex and the City Didn't Expect The High Level of Scrutiny
It seems that when Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kristin Davis agreed to come back to their famous roles in the Sex and the City universe none of them expected the level of media scrutiny that has surrounded this new project. Kristin Davis even claims that she feels paparazzi are out there trying to make sure that they get a bad picture of them to essentially give people on social media more ammo to criticize them with. Davis told The Sunday Times,
"Everyone wants to comment, pro or nay or whatever, on our hair and our faces and our this and our that. The level of intensity of it was a shock,”
Kristin Davis Is Fed Up With The Criticism She's Literally Dropping F-Bombs On Critics
Davis recalls that throughout the run of the original Sex and the City show she also received plenty of criticism. Saying that multiple articles at the time were written to discuss her body shape. She recalls people writing that she had a pear shaped body. Something that wasn't necessarily taken as a compliment by Davis at the time. Now, with her and her cast mates still under the microscope of folks on social media Kristin Davis has a message for all of the haters. She's not holding back one bit saying,
"I’m going to be blunt — I feel like, ‘F--- you. F--- you people, like, come over here and do it better.’ You know what I mean? Like, what are you doing?"
Everyone Over 40 Is In The 'Betty White Age Group'
Kristin Davis was really outright venting a ton of frustration throughout her whole interview. At one point she mentioned that it seemed like show business would put everyone over 40 in the same age group as Betty White. After throwing some shade at Betty, she would back track saying that she only brought her up because she was turning 100 next years. At 56 Davis literally has a full life to go to reach that number.
Besides the whole age issue Kristin Davis also called out for more diversity in Hollywood. Davis is speaking out for single moms everywhere saying that there's not enough representation of that demographic in movies and TV. Davis is a single mom herself to two adoptive sons who are 3 and 10 years old respectively. It was clear Davis had a lot on her chest before she gave that interview!
