Pete Davidson Believes Kim Removing West From Name Has 'No Bearing' On Their Relationship

Pete Davidson shares his thoughts as another sharp nail hits the coffin signaling the end of Kim Kardashian and KanYe West's marriage.

Kardashian has decided to remove West from her last name amid the rapper's failed attempts at rekindling their famous romance. 

Fans believe the former "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star decided because of her current relationship, but the new beau cleared the air on those speculations.

Hours following West's very public effort to get back with his soon-to-be ex-wife, HollywoodLife reported that she filed to remove his surname from her title.

It seems that the 41-year-old made this drastic decision to tell the "Donda" icon that they are never getting back together.

Amid the ongoing drama, Davidson appears to be unaffected. An insider told the outlet that Davidson has little reaction to Kardashian's name drop request.

The source expressed that the 28-year-old feels that his girlfriend's decision "has no bearing on them or their relationship. He's happy if she is happy. That is his standing on it all." 

The source shared that Davidson does not want to be judged for removing his tattoos, and he is also not the type to judge anyone for doing what makes them feel better.

Kardashian does not want to give mixed signals or hopes that she will be getting back together with the father of her four children.

The Blast revealed legal documents which showed that the socialite requested a judge's sign-off on making her a single woman in the eyes of the law.

This means she would be free to marry someone else if she gets the court's approval. She also wishes to return to her maiden name.

During West's outro to "Runaway" at Friday's sold-out L.A. Larry Hoover Benefit concert, the "Famous" artist sang, "I need you to come right back to me…more specifically, Kimberly."

This awkward declaration was made to a crowd that included the "SKIMS" founder, and she seems to have been so put off that her filing followed with no delay. 

The former lovebirds were also seen at Virgil Abloh's celebration of life, which made fans begin speculating that they might put a stop to their divorce.

The "Praise God" rapper also recently released a Thanksgiving video where he admitted to having alcohol and mental health battles which caused him to embarrass his wife along the line.

Kardashian has nothing but gratitude towards West and thanked him during her acceptance speech at the 2021 People's Choice Awards.

The Blast shared that the "KKW Beauty" founder won the "Fashion Icon Award" at the ceremony held in California on December 7.

While accepting the award, Kardashian thanked the "Yeezy" fashion guru for introducing her into the world of fashion and design. 

The "KUWTK" alum also noted that the famous designers who worked with her at the start of her career were likely influenced by her ex.
