Dr. Dre has been a hot topic on social media over the past year and a half. This is due to his heated divorce from his estranged wife, Nicole Young. That appears to be officially coming to an end, and now, the legendary rapper/producer has announced new music coming soon.

Dre Says This Album Is Some Of His ‘Best Work’
Dre had high praise for this forthcoming project, as he went as far as claiming that this is some of his “best work.” As of now though, there is no official title or release date.
“I just finished recording an album with Marsha Ambrosius. “Casablanco” I had a blast!! This is some of my best work!!”
This album is already garnering high anticipation, as it’s been over six years since Dre last released a studio album. That came in August 2015, with his “Compton” project. That went on to become the number two album in the US.
In total, Dre has only released two albums as a rapper, but several have been regarded as classics. These include The 1992 debut album “The Chronic” and “2001,” back in 1999.
Dre And Nicole Young Reached Divorce Settlement
Last week it was also revealed that Dre and Nicole Young finally reached a deal, in their nasty divorce battle. Exact terms regarding how much Young would receive weren’t specified, but she definitely received large sums of money throughout this process. This comes after Young requested $2 million in monthly spousal support.
Up to this point, Dre has since had to pay Young a one-time payment of $2 million, as well as a whopping $500,000 in attorney fees. Dre definitely seems satisfied with the outcome though, as a viral photo has been surfacing of him in front of balloons that read “Divorced AF.”

Dre Battled Brain Aneurysm In January
In the first few days of 2021, Dre definitely had a rough start to the year. At the time, he was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. This was due to a brain aneurysm that had developed.
Dre spent nearly two weeks at Cedars-Sinai, in the ICU. When he was approved to go back home, he also received treatment for several weeks. This was done in order to make sure that there were no other medical issues that would surface. Doctors would not end up finding the cause of what triggered Dre’s brain aneurysm, though.
Dre went on to thank his supporters, in a lengthy Instagram post. He also thanked the employees at Cedars-Sinai, for their “excellent” care that they provided to him.
