Although Paris Hilton’s life has already been the subject of a literal reality show’s worth of coverage, the socialite and media mogul still clearly has plenty to share as her most recent interview with ‘The Sunday Times’ would go to suggest.
Hilton opened up to the publication about a myriad of details regarding her personal life, including how she was abused in the past, what she is doing currently in her love life, and how her best friend Kim Kardashian has been giving her advice for when she chooses to become a mom.
The interview, which comes ahead of her highly-anticipated YouTube documentary ‘This Is Paris,’ shines a previously unseen light on the life of one of the 21st century’s most famous influencers, including the trials and tribulations she encountered over the years she was in the spotlight.
Although she did not specifically mention any one ex by name, Hilton insinuated that someone in her past had abused her during a relationship, and looked back unfondly on her time spent in boarding school at a younger age.
I accepted it because I almost thought it was normal. It was like, ‘He loves me so much that he’s going this crazy,’ and I just wanted love so bad that I was willing to accept being hit or yelled at or screamed at or strangled, or a lot of things.
Thankfully it appears that Hilton is no longer in such a circumstance, as she discussed how happy her current relationship truly makes her compared to how she has been in the past.
“I feel like my grandmother sent him to save me. I love him so much,” the socialite said of her current romance with entrepreneur Carter Reum.
“Finally, I’ve found my perfect match, someone I want to spend the rest of my life with and have a family with,” Hilton went on to gush about Reum and how perfectly their relationship has been working out, which led into her next candid topic of discussion, the potential for having children in the future.
Hilton says she is very optimistic about the potential to have children in the future, and even insinuated that her best friend Kim Kardashian was the one to convince her to freeze her eggs in order to ensure that she could act as she pleased to in that regard no matter her age.
“I had a really amazing conversation with Kim [Kardashian] about it. She introduced me to her doctor, and I was so inspired by her to actually do it. I think every woman should do it because you can really control it and not have that ‘Oh my God, I need to get married,'” Hilton said.
