Kyanna Parsons-Perez is celebrating being alive… and her 40th birthday.

Perez worked at the Kentucky candle factory that was flattened in last night’s tornado strike.

Over 110 workers were in the factory at the time of the collapse.

Perez said that she and the six or seven people she was trapped with were fading out of consciousness.

She was able to call 911 and then went Live to help her and others try to stay calm.

A rescue worker named Nate told them that they were trapped under 5 feet of rubble.

Perez became trapped between an air conditioner and water fountain and could not move her legs.

They were able to shift the debris underneath her in order to get her around.

She has bruises on her legs, but is grateful to be alive.
