Jamie Lynn Spears was not aiming for an “Insta-perfect” look as she updated her Instagram straight from her bathtub ahead of the weekend. The 29-year-old actress made it crystal-clear that she was worn out by being a mom – the “Sweet Magnolias” star became one early at the age of 16 and is now raising 11-year-old Maddie and 2-year-old Ivey.
Jamie Lynn, hugely popular this year as the Netflix show she stars in was renewed for a second season, proved she’s popular off-set, too. Check it out below.
Scroll for the snaps. The above one landed on Jamie Lynn’s Instagram on July 30 as the former Nickelodeon star took her daughters on a well-earned vacation and joked being a “Southern Momma.”
Jamie’s latest photos showed her in selfie mode, super-close up, and in her bathtub, with a video also offered. The “Zoey 101” alum was looking flawless and resting her chin on the tub’s edge while backed by tiles. Jamie Lynn looked expressionless, kinda bummed out, and up for having the caption do the talking.

“Momma’s don’t get (to be) jet-lagged, sick, lazy, or tired???.”
A quick look at the comments section seems to show every mom on earth replying with a “Hell yeah.” Jamie Lynn’s fans were quick to reply, with a celebrity comment also coming in.
A reply from country star Luke Bryan’s wife Caroline racked up over 100 likes.
“Unfortunately we don’t. That’s why God made us tougher than men! ?,” she wrote.
“They do…however they usually aren’t able to do anything about it. Keep pushing. You’ve got this!” another fan said.
Jamie Lynn, who turned 29 in quarantine and called it “crappy times,” has been keeping it real amid the pandemic. The sister to 38-year-old pop star Britney Spears has been sharing family moments, with the chalk road signs her daughters made for frontline workers actually bringing in thanks from healthcare employees.
Jamie Lynn made headlines in July 2019 for confirming a return to acting. She now stars in feel-good Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias.” The show has proven so popular, Jamie Lynn even had to apologize as the planned Live Watch premiere party crashed – so many people were tuning in.
The series also caused a stir on Jamie Lynn’s Instagram, as her Noreen character comes complete with a prosthetic baby bump (seen above). Spears’ followers briefly thought she had a bun in the oven as the bump proved so convincing.
