The Kardashian-Jenner Kids Are The Modern Day ‘Golden Girls’

There’s a TV show that comes around every decade that changes the landscape of television history.

“The Golden Girls” changed the way people in the 1980s viewed women over the age of 60. They were funny, sharp, quick witted, and had libidos like nobody's business.

Okay, well maybe that was just Blanche Devereaux, but regardless, the Golden Girls had active social lives.

“The Golden Girls” showcased the comedic genius of Betty White (Rose Nylund), Bea Arthur (Dorothy Zbornak), Rue McClanahan (Blanche Deveraux), and Estelle Getty (Sophia Petrillo).

This generation saw the emergence of the Kardashians, who devoted fans kept up with for 20 seasons.

The famous family of Calabasas, CA. hit TV screens in 2007 and reality TV hasn’t been the same since.

We are gathered here today to see how Kris Jenner’s grandkids match up to the iconic ‘Golden Girls.’

North West, the first-born of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s children, is just like Dorothy.

She’s headstrong, outspoken and a little VERY abrasive in her delivery.

North is the leader of the Kar-Jenner grandkids. Sure, Mason Disick was the first- born grandchild, but he doesn’t have the spunk or fire North that does.

Remember when North was just a toddler and ran off the paparazzi by telling them, “I said no pictures,” while walking into ballet class?

Now, that North is older, she has no problem trolling and calling out her mother, especially when she’s on-camera.

During the beginning of quarantine, Kim was filming a makeup tutorial and off camera North can be heard saying, “You should be more busy with your kids, not your friends.”

Spoken like a true Dorothy.

The eldest grandchild is comparable to the eldest ‘Golden Girls’ character, Sophia.

Sophia, played by Getty, is the mother of Dorothy and the loud mouthed Italian of the group.

She often gets herself into sticky situations due to what comes out of her mouth.

There’s no filter from her brain to her voice box, and the very same can be said about Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s oldest.

Who could forget the time Mason spilled the beans about Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner’s relationship status during an Instagram Live?

The 10-year-old also started secret TikTok accounts behind his parents backs, which is totally something Sophia would do.

Sophia and Mason are similar in the sense that they will do whatever they want to do despite being told ‘No.’

They say things without thinking beforehand which often gets them into trouble.

Stormi Webster, the daughter of Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner, is well on her way to being a bona fide fashionista.

The first-born child to Scott and Jenner was rockin’ designer handbags right out of the womb.

Stormi has amazing taste in clothes and accessories, just like Blanche.

Neither Blanche nor Stormi leave the house without looking their best, because at the end of the day who knows who they could run into. For Blanche that could be an eligible bachelor, for Stormi that could be paparazzi.

Blanche and Stormi are both show-stoppers, who make sure to command the attention of everyone in the room.

True Thompson seems to be the most soft-spoken of the Kar-Jenner grandkids, very much like Betty’s character Rose.

Khloe’s daughter is an animal lover with a kind soul.

Much like Rose, True is gentle, silly and loves to live in wonderland. Nothing seems to phase her, and she is totally fine rocking a tutu all day and all night.

Given that her mom is so positive, I can only imagine that True sees life through ROSE colored glasses (pun intended).

There doesn’t seem to be a thing in the world that could cloud her sunshiny day.

And personally, I think everyone should try to be a bit more like Rose and True.
