Simone Biles and her bikini body had zero worries this weekend. The 23-year-old gymnast, now the world’s most decorated, updated her Instagram from the edge of her pool today with a low-key shot that included a little designer merch – Simone had featured luxury Italian brand Gucci via some loungey footwear.
If you aren’t up-to-date on Simone, the 30-time Olympic and World medalist recently went Instagram official with new NFL player boyfriend Jonathan Owens. The Houston Texans safety was nowhere to be seen today, but there was plenty to look at. Check it out below.

The above one made headlines earlier this year as Simone shouted out hit Netflix series “Tiger King” by posing in a tiger-print bikini and captioning it: “Sun baskin’.” The Ohio native has also proven popular for instructing her 3.9 million followers on “how to get a bikini body” – Simone’s solution? “Put a bikini on your body.”
Today’s photo showed Simone lying on her back and with her ankles in pool waters, plus her jaw-dropping, ripped body sprawled out under the sun. Simone was also holding a metallic tumbler, with a white pair of Gucci slippers nearby.
Keep scrolling for the shot and the new man. Simone, also shooting the camera a gaze from behind shades, went super-short with her caption, writing: “No worries.”
Simone’s fans don’t miss the captions.
“The queen is unbothered!!!!!!!” one fan wrote. Actress Jeanté Godlock, best known for “The Simone Biles Story: Courage To Soar” was also quick to comment, writing: “Yes twinnie. unbothered and beautiful?.”
Simone fronted media outlets on August 2 for finally going public with 25-year-old Jonathan Edwards as the two posed together, with Simone writing: “It’s just us ?.” She’s since updated with her new “boo,” gushing over him and writing: “The only time I fall is when he’s there to catch me.”
Simone isn’t just a bikini body and boyfriend headline this summer, though.. The athlete has been in the news this year for reacting to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics being postponed – and admitting she “cried” – also being listed as a plaintiff in the Larry Nassar sex abuse lawsuit.
Speaking to Vogue in July amid the resurgence of Black Lives Matter, Biles addressed her race in the context of her career.
“Growing up, I didn’t see very many Black gymnasts,” she stated:
“So whenever I did, I felt really inspired to go out there and want to be as good as them. I remember watching Gabby Douglas win the 2012 Olympics, and I was like, If she can do it, I can do it.”
Simone’s post today racked up over 45,000 likes in under an hour.
