Savannah Chrisley is seeing her Instagram followers defend her as comments left to her brave, raw, and hospital-set post-surgery photo turn personal. The 23-year-old “Chrisley Knows Best” star this week fronted media outlets for undergoing her third surgery for endometriosis – Savannah, diagnosed with the painful uterine condition at the age of 18, is now fresh from having a “huge” cyst removed.
Savannah updated her Instagram after the procedure in a medical gown and mask with a full update thanking Dr. Sinervo and Dr. Winer. Nosy parker fans couldn’t help but swoop in after the star’s ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles left a comment, though. Check it out below.
Scroll for the drama. Savannah’s photo on Thursday showed her bravely smiling from behind a face mask and lying in a hospital bed as she thanked the doctors she described as being “gifts from God.”
“UPDATE: Had a huge cyst they had to remove. Found endo in/on my uterus, ovaries, bladder, and surrounding areas,” Savannah began, then adding that the cyst had been removed alongside a “good bit of scar tissue.” Chrisley remained in the hospital overnight, which seemingly gave her 2.1 million followers plenty of chances to comment.
Savannah’s post, racking up over 230,000 likes and bringing in over 7,000 comments largely sees the Georgia-born star wished all the best. Savannah had also written that “It’s time to give myself time to recover.”
A comment from a well-known face came in. Nic Kerdiles, whom Savannah got engaged to in 2018 and this summer resumed a “back to dating” setup with has sent his lady good wishes. The ice hockey face wrote:
“I’m still in awe of the strength and courage you showed through all of this. I think @toddchrisley and I were more nervous than you.”
Seemingly, the reply left room for questions.
Nic’s comment, now sitting at over 2,200 likes, has sparked some talk about the formerly-engaged couple. Savannah was already sparking split rumors prior to her surgery after going seven weeks without posting any photos of Nic.
“Are you guys back together?” a fan wrote.
Those viewing the comment didn’t seem to find it appropriate for a girl who has just gone through surgery and likely has only her recovery on her mind.
“That’s not any of your business. Stop asking nosey and inappropriate -ss questions ugh,” a fan clapped back.
Fans have since been speculating what the deal is between Savannah and the man she was due to marry earlier this year.
“I know they called off the wedding and engagement but I don’t think they ever broke up,” a fan wrote, adding: “Just took individual time working on themselves.”
The comment seems accurate. In June, Savannah told Us Weekly that both she and Nic realized “things moved way too fast and we needed to go back to dating.” The two are also in therapy to work on their relationship.
