“Chrisley Knows Best” star Savannah Chrisley is out of surgery and on the road to recovery and now she’s updating fans on exactly what went down when she went under the knife. Fans have been waiting for an update from the reality star after Chrisley revealed to fans earlier this week that she would be going into surgery due to her ongoing issues with Endometriosis.
“UPDATE: Had a huge cyst they had to remove. Found endo in/on my uterus, ovaries, bladder, and surrounding areas,” Chrisley revealed to fans on Thursday afternoon.
The 23-year-old reality star had explained she has been dealing with the pain associated with Endometriosis for quite some time, and part of the surgery was hoping to alleviate some of that discomfort. After making the discovery during surgery, Chrisley wrote that:
“Dr. Sinervo removed that along with a good bit of scar tissue. He also cut some nerves to help with pain. I stayed in the hospital overnight and then was able to go back to my hotel and now I’m heading home today!”
Savannah Chrisley and her family are deeply religious, as his showcased on their reality TV series, and she described that her doctor actually prayed with her before the operation began.
“Can’t tell you guys how many times I’ve cried…Dr. Sinervo and Dr. Winer are truly gifts from God. Dr. Sinervo asked to pray with me before surgery and then they both held my hands in the OR until I was put to sleep.”
Chrisley added that she knows it’s time to let her body heal:
“It’s time to give myself time to recover..”
Savannah Chrisley has been very truthful about the details surrounding her experiences with Endometriosis, and is not slowing down from sharing now that she’s out of surgery. After experiencing some issues with gas following the procedure, Chrisley explained how she’s coping:
“I have had severe gas pains due to the CO2 they filled me up with during surgery…GASX and peppermint tea have helped tremendously,”
Fans are wishing the star well after the procedure and letting her know to take it easy and recover:
“Time for healing! This will be a new pain free life you will be entering!!” one fan wrote on Instagram.
The revelation by Savannah Chrisley was made earlier this week when she explained that she would be undergoing a 3rd surgery.
“I was diagnosed with Endometriosis when I was 18 and it’s been quite the struggle. The pain at times is unbearable and the toll it takes on my emotional/psychological health is pretty rough at times.”
Along with the support of her fans, Chrisley also has her father, Todd Chrisley, by her side. After going public with her diagnosis of Endometriosis, Todd dropped some love into the comments of his daughter’s post:
“You continue to make us so proud , we are right beside you always , you’ve got this , God is control and you know where you stand with him so it’s already taken care of.”
