Jessica Simpson channeled her inner surfer girl this week, getting snapped right on sands and with six surf boards as she posed to promote her Jessica Simpson Style brand. The 40-year-old actress, singer, and “Open Book” author appeared in a new photo posted to her best-selling label’s Instagram on Wednesday – Jessica may continue to front media outlets for her candid memoir and childhood sexual abuse memoir, but the “Dukes of Hazzard” star is still running a business.
Jessica, who famously dropped 100 pounds in six months after welcoming third baby Birdie Mae last year, had her figure on show. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. It comes as Jessica continues to shift sales for the label that turned a reported $1 billion back in 2015. Jessica had been photographed on shores and backed by surfboards in various sizes and colors while pulling off a bombshell vibe and showing off her whittled-down frame.
Jessica, seen in a summery and striped romper, also wore high-heeled wedge sandals with ankle straps, plus her trademark blonde locks down. A caption talking “Endless Summer” then name-dropped the Sierra Romper retailing for $69.50.

The star made her reveal in 2019, with 2020 seeing a skinny minny Jessica celebrate the final hours of her 30s by fitting into a 14-year-old pair of True Religion jeans. As The Blast reported, however, fans were concerned that Jessica may have taken the weight loss too far, with a popular comment calling the mom of three “way too skinny.”
Back in May, Simpson posted a sweat-drenched post-workout selfie that offered a little insight into how she squeezes fitness in amid her multi-faceted career and motherhood.
Jessica had captioned her shot:
“Woke up before all 3 kiddos to get my steps in and spend time with me, myself, and I. Move move move for your own mental health. ??”
Jessica, who walked up to 10,000 steps per day while watching what she ate to drop her 100 pounds, has kept the weight off. Her Instagram does show plenty of food, including a home baking session with 8-year-old daughter Maxwell as the two thanked fallen U.S. soldiers earlier this year.

Jessica’s trainer, Harley Pasternak, opened up to Hollywood Life in October 2019. The man behind the bodies of stars including Megan Fox and Gwyneth Paltrow told the media outlet:
“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner.”
He added: “As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined.”
