“Alaskan Bush People” star Bear Brown is having lots of feelings about the new upcoming season of the Discovery reality series. Bear took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to let fans know the new season of “Alaskan Bush People” is days away, and while he’s excited about all the unfolding drama and “suspense,” he admits it was tough having his personal life play out in front of the cameras for millions of people to see.
“There’s been a lot that’s happened this season, to be honest,” Bear began his video message to fans on his private Instagram account.
31-year-old Bear is promoting the upcoming season fo “APB,” even though he knows what’s in store for the episodes is much of the drama centered on himself.
“There’s new members joining the wolfpack, there’s drama there’s suspense, there’s action, you guys definitely want to check it out,” Bear explained.
He added, “I would say it’s been fun filming … part of it’s been fun, some of it’s been a little hard personally.”
Bear is referring to the birth of his first son, River, with ex-GF Raiven Adams. Bear and Raiven had multiple breakups and rekindlings before it finally got so back there were legal documents filed by the ex-couple.
Bear also teased that he’s going to be going through some big changes that audiences may not be aware of yet, promising, “You’re going to see me in a way you’ve never seen me before.”
It’s been a whirlwind ride for the reality star as he remains in rural Washington with his family, and ailing father, while his newborn son remains in Alaska with the mother of his child, Raiven Adams.
He has yet to meet River, who was born back in March during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the big questions fans are still wondering is if baby River will be featured on new episodes of “Alaskan Bush People.”
While she was still with Bear, Raiven had hinted that they were going to let the baby be seen on TV, but since the volatile breakup it’s still uncertain of Discovery will feature the newborn on the show. Obviously, the drama in Bear’s personal life will be discussed and featured on the show, but they may have to do it without the payoff of seeing his son … unless cameras are rolling when Bear finally meets the little guy.
New episodes of “Alaskan Bush People” premiere August 23 on Discovery.
