Britney Spears has her 26 million Instagram followers worried – and that’s nothing new for the singer whose followers are now convinced that she isn’t even controlling her own social media. Britney, 38, has now endured 12 years of father Jamie Spears controlling her finances and many other aspects of her life. The “Toxic” singer’s fans have responded to her repetitive 2020 posts with immense concern – the latest video added to the pile.
Britney updated on Tuesday from her L.A. mansion while dancing barefoot to Mariah Carey. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. If you’ve seen Britney’s 2020 posts, you’ll know that the mom of two dancing barefoot in tiny shorts is nothing new on her Instagram. She’s done it to Beyonce and Billie Eilish, but for fans, it’s the repetitive nature of posts that are concerning.
Britney, also posting with extremely repetitive images showing her shot against red, white, yellow, or backyard backdrops, is repeatedly asked: “Are you okay?” She has, however, clapped back in July saying she was “authentic,” and just this month posted time-stramped proof that her photos “aren’t old.”
The video, seen below, showed Britney solo and on marbled floors. The Grammy winner was dancing in super-tiny pink shorts that seemed to defy gravity as the hitmaker whipped her body around, with a white crop top flashing those abs. Britney offered three roses for her caption, also tagging the IG handle of singer Mariah Carey.
Replies have been flying in for the star who just today, has been revealed to not want dad Jamie as her conservator, per court documents obtained by The Blast. Scroll for the comments.
A popular comment read: “This is from at least July 14 or before. There’s a video in this exact outfit and the necklace is under the bra strap. They’re not even trying at this point.”
Britney is fresh from appearing in a home video with boyfriend Sam Asghari surprising her, Pink Panther style. He said the video was in response to everyone asking him: “Where’s Britney?”
Another replied: “We didnt ask your bfs where you are. We asked you Britney. The facts we answered with I have been getting questions about where is britney totally shows he is running this account.”

It’s now been weeks that Spears has endured comments suggesting she is being controlled, however her latest court documents do suggest that she wants out of the 2008-commenced conservatorship. Dad Jamie, meanwhile, has called #FreeBritney both a “joke” and a “conspiracy theory.”
Britney’s latest clap-back came as she posed in a peasant blouse with a time-stamp showing the photo taken at 1.26 a.m. and on August 6. She captioned the photo:
“Just so you guys know these aren’t old … check the date at the top of the 2nd pic ????? !!!!”
