Despite what appeared to be a reconciliation between Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna on the most recent episode of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," it seems some kind of new rift has formed between the two in the months since the ep was filmed. The women were in Rome still and Richards got into it with some of the other cast members during a dinner. After the episode aired, Rinna has a question on Instagram.
“Wait, was Denise wasted in her confessionals? Asking for a friend,” Rinna wrote in a since deleted post. After receiving what must've been some serious backlash, she followed that up with another Instagram Story update.
“Let’s say that again. It’s. A. Tv. Show. Whatever else you project on to it, is your bullshit. Amen. The End,” she wrote.
It's unclear why Rinna would go after Richards on social media, but reportedly there were some shots fired during the reunion episode, which was filming in person last week.
Richards was seen in a confessional during the most recent episode standing by her claim that Brandi Glanville told her she'd slept with at least one other cast member.
"Brandi told me this the very first time I met her," Richards said. "I would never lie about that. But I'm not going to name names because I don't know if it's true or not and I don't care."
Richards and Rinna got together the next morning after the dramatic dinner to talk about what went down.
"Last night was really tough and I'm sorry about that," Rinna said.
"Energy that you are projecting towards me comes off like you are attacking me, and you are almost interrogating me. And several of these big dinners, you're coming off as a mean friend," Richards replied. "I feel like why the fuck did you even invite me here."
"Because I love you," Rinna said. "Because you're my friend."
"Stop attacking me. I had your back. I defended you with Kyle at my house when she kept telling you to 'fuck off' and 'fuck you,'" Richards replied.
Rinna then became very emotional, and said, "I don't want to hurt you, Denise. I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt you, I don't. I feel like I really failed you, Denise. I'm just trying to make it so that everybody can move on and I've just fucked up even more and I just don't know what to do about it."
"Lisa, just be you," Richards said. "You're strong and you do stand up for what's right. Because that's the friend that I love."
