Britney Spears‘ bombshell body hasn’t gone anywhere, even if the 38-year-old’s biggest headline-maker right now is the resurgence of the #FreeBritney movement. Britney, followed by 26 million on Instagram and largely seeing fans worried for her well-being this summer, updated her account on Monday – and she kicked off the week with a bang.
Britney is gearing up for her August 19 court appearance. The star’s finances and many other aspects of her life have been controlled by father Jamie Spears for 12 years now, with #FreeBritney not happy at all about the status quo. Britney, however, appeared at peace today, if also in the mood to wear seriously tiny shorts.
Scroll for today’s photos. They come just hours after personal trainer boyfriend Sam Asghari answered the “Where’s Britney?” question he claims he’s asked over and over. The Iranian who has been dating Britney since 2016 posted a creeping video of himself pouncing on Britney with a surprise “WAZZUUUPP” to show that she is doing okay and confirm her whereabouts.
Britney, whose repetitive Instagram posts have seen fans deeming her social media setup this summer, posted new backyard shots today. The Grammy winner offered one tugged-down pair of shorts, one push-up crop top, and a stunning semi-smile.
Britney, who recently showed the secret behind her body with a masked beach yoga session, updated from the backyard of her L.A. mansion and looking deep into the camera. The mom of two had her rock-hard abs and killer cleavage on show, also seen cheekily tugging down her shorts with little to suggest anything was underneath.
Spears, whose captions have recently seen her defending her “peasant blouse” and telling fans her pics “aren’t old,” offered no words here – just three roses.
Britney made headlines over the weekend for a rare clap-back after weeks of probing comments from fans. Spears, who kicked 2020 off with a red backdrop for her photos and has shifted to plain white or yellow ones, has seen fans accusing her handlers of controlling her Instagram. Britney set the record straight, writing:
“Just so you guys know these aren’t old … check the date at the top of the 2nd pic ????? !!!!”
Fans weren’t so convinced, though, replying: “This was the stupidest thing her team could ever do ?.”
Britney found #FreeBritney trending on Twitter over the weekend as her August 19 court date was made public. The star did not appear for her July 22 court appearance, with “technical difficulties” cited as being behind her absence.
Meanwhile, father Jamie Spears has been in the news for slamming #FreeBritney, calling it both a “joke” and a “conspiracy theory.” In July, mom Lynne Spears filed legal documents to be involved in her daughter’s financial affairs. Also getting involved has been 29-year-old sister Jamie Lynn, recently slamming troll remarks over Britney’s mental health.
