'RHONJ' Star Teresa Giudice And Estranged Husband Joe Are 'Happy' About Gia's New Boyfriend Christian

Gia Giudice recently went public with new boyfriendChristian Carmichael and according to a new report, her parents, mom Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice, are completely on board with the 19-year-old's romance.
On Sunday, August 16, an insider told Hollywood Life that Teresa and Joe, who announced their separation at the end of last year following 20 years of marriage, not only don't mind Christian, they are actually happy that their daughter has someone special in her life.
“Teresa and Joe are really happy for Gia and Christian,” a source explained.
“Joe is very protective so he has trouble with Gia dating but he knows it’s a part of life,” the source continued.
While Joe, who is currently living in Italy after being deported from the United States to due charges of bank and wire fraud, has not yet met his daughter's companion, Teresa has met her new boyfriend and "really, really likes him."
“They met at college so Joe didn’t know him beforehand. He’s a good guy for Gia and makes her happy and treats her well and that’s all she cares about," the insider shared.
Earlier this month, Gia and Christian embarked on what appeared to be their first couples getaway to Los Angeles, where they've been seen in Malibu and Beverly Hills.
As Hollywood Life revealed to readers, Gia has been sharing special moments from their trip on her social media pages, including an image of their rented Porsche.
“Gia’s been on vacation in California with her boyfriend just for fun,” the source explained. “She was supposed to be in Italy right now with her sisters visiting her dad but came here to California for a fun little getaway instead."
"She’s been staying at home in New Jersey with her mom and sisters during quarantine and that’s where she’ll return,” the source added.
As the outlet revealed, Gia first went public wit her new relationship on July 20 after attending her aunt Melissa Gorga's 4th of July party at the Jersey Shore with Christian earlier that month.
At the time, Gia shared a photo of the two of them together on her Instagram page and in the caption, she wrote, “Summer nights w u.”
In addition to confirming her relationship, Gia also confirmed a nose job earlier this summer on Instagram.
"Yes I got a nose job. yes I’m swollen. thank you so much @drtobiasnyc I’m absolutely in love with it,” she wrote in the caption of a photo of herself posing with her mom weeks ago. “I am an adult now, this has been an insecurity of mine for a while and I’ve never been happier and so comfortable in my own skin!!”
