A forthcoming Royal tell-all novel titled ‘Finding Freedom’ by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand seeks to explain countless intrinsic details of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s tenure in the innermost circle of the British Royal family.
Now, the pair are revealing a particular instance in which the Prince allegedly “went ballistic” over the notion that Meghan Markle was seemingly being snubbed by palace aides when she first began living with him, something that caused an argument between him and Queen Elizabeth.
As reported by ‘The Daily Mail’, Harry was described as “furious” by the Royal reporters over the notion that his new wife was being mistreated in any way by staffers for the family.
One particular issue the Prince bore towards a staffer was in regards to Queen Elizabeth’s longtime dresser, Angela Kelly, who the Royal reporters claim was “deliberately dragged her feet” in regards to Markle having access to a specific significant tiara she wanted to wear on her wedding day.
“Harry had to intervene,” Scobie explained about the particularly tense situation and how he wanted to work quickly to resolve it by any means neccesary. “He called his grandmother and said, ‘I don’t know what the hell is going on. This woman needs to make this work for my future wife.’ And of course, we can kind of see now where this ‘what Meghan wants, Meghan gets’ narrative comes from,” the author went on to explain about how the situation was resolved.
“Harry felt that there were those within the situation that would stop at nothing at the very least to make Meghan’s life difficult,” the author continued to explain of how deeply rooted the issues from the palace were in regards to Markle.
The Prince was allegedly fed up with Kelly’s actions against his wife and broke protocol to give her a piece of his mind, “What followed between the prince and Angela was a heated exchange that was far from the typical restraint expected,” Scobie went on to mention.
“Nothing could convince Harry that some of the old guards at the palace simply didn’t like Meghan and would stop at nothing to make her life difficult,” the author’s sources continued to elaborate.
Harry considered Kelly’s actions to be a “huge snub” especially so close to their wedding day.
“Meg had flown her hairdresser over from Paris for a hair practice and they needed the tiara. Angela Kelly said she couldn’t come to London [from Windsor] and Harry went ballistic. He was furious at the treatment of his then-fiancee. Such a snub,” the source said.
