Rebel Wilson is not slowing down on showing off her impressive weight loss and took to the water on Sunday afternoon to let fans know they shouldn’t sleep on her success anytime soon. The “Pitch Perfect” star shared the wet snaps on Instagram while addressing her 8.2 million followers.
As has been widely talked about, Wilson is on a quest to shed almost 165 lbs by the end of the year as she has completely switched up her diet and fitness routine.

During her latest swimming session, Wilson showed off her underwater skills with a photo of herself submerged in the pool.
“Don’t ever doubt my mermaid abilities,” Wilson captioned the photo.
Savvy “Pitch Pefect” stars immediately identified the film reference, and even Wilson’s former “PP” co-star, Anna Camp dropped into the comments to tell her friend, “I love ur mermaid dancing.”
The “Mermaid Dance” was made famous in the 2012 movie, “Pitch Perfect,” when Wilson’s character, Fat Amy, first introduces herself while explaining why her amazing talents are better than the other “twig bi–hes.”
“I can sing, but I’m also good at modern dance, olden dance, and mermaid dancing which is a little different. You usually start on the ground,” Amy explained while taking to the ground and wiggling around.
“Pitch Perfect” became a monster hit, and Wilson’s iconic character is one of the franchises favorites.
Rebel Wilson has been open about her weight loss journey.
“It all got started when I went to a health retreat called the Vivamayr in Austria and they reset my whole system, but it’s a slow, gradual process,” she said in an interview with The Sun.
Wilson added that, “Hopefully by the end of the year I’ll have reached my goals.”
She also explained that hitting a birthday milestone was part of the motivation to turn her life in a healthy direction.
“I turned 40 as well in March and so I thought, this is gonna be it. This is going to be the year for me to just concentrate on the health benefits.”
