Reginae Carter may have had Instagram telling her that exposing her chest in see-through underwear was too much last week, but the “Growing Up Hip-Hop” star had zero problem doing the exact same thing today. Carter, 21, is a an ambassador for Rihanna’s SavagexFenty lingerie brand. The daughter to rapper Lil Wayne was, as The Blast reported, told: “Take this off smh” as she went super-racy with her August 6 promo.
Well, she’s back. Reginae’s Sunday Instagram update kept it racy, but it maintained the VH1 face’s signature class. Check it out below.
Scroll for the early August photo. It showed Reginae posing on her knees and on a faux-fur rug while rocking a super-sexy and latex bodysuit with sheer chest fabrics and fun pineapple prints on them. The popular underwear from 32-year-old Rihanna’s brand has since also been seen on fellow SavagexFenty face, 38-year-old pop star Christina Milian.
Reginae, followed by 5.3 million, had gotten praise, but many fans felt it wasn’t right: “Girl…. you doing too much,” a popular comment had read.
While one user had written that mom Toya wouldn’t approve, another had said: “She grown, but it’s a pass on this.”
Reginae, also a Fashion Nova partner, updated today with brand new promos for SavagexFenty. They showed the stunner flaunting her super-fit and curvy body against a similarly pink wall and rocking matching, sheer, and pineapple-print lingerie while also sporting a face mask.
A caption from Carter shouted out her ambassador status, reading: “Be You Till Full ? @savagexfenty #savagexambassador.”
It looks like the second time around worked a charm. Check out the reactions below.
Reginae’s update today racked up over 100,000 likes in three hours, also bringing her fans to their knees. They had the energy for the emoji, though.
“Cotton Candy on a chocolate dream . .????,” one fan wrote, with another throwing Carter over twelve fire emoji. “Bea ?,” another said.
SavagexFenty has, of course, majorly been in the news of late, with 35-year-old reality star Draya Michele reportedly losing her endorsement after her ill-received shooting joke about “Savage” rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Skip the jump for how much Reginae might have gotten paid.
Reginae’s post didn’t come with a #ad. The disclaimer doesn’t appear necessary when the promotional agenda is clear – here, Carter mentioning she is a SavagexFenty ambassador does it. Pay on Instagram correlates directly with following, something that experts over at Vox have thrown out suggested figures for.
“Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post.”
