Salma Hayek is now jokingly being asked to foot the bill after a fan seeing her latest bikini snap dropped their phone and “cracked” the screen. The 53-year-old actress, adored as much for her curves as for her talents, updated her Instagram on Sunday with a major thirst trap.
Salma, who proudly turned 53 in a neon turquoise bikini last year and continues to defy her age, snagged herself over a quarter of a million likes in two hours. Clearly, the “Frida” actress’ followers couldn’t all take the heat. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo and the slow-motion pool video that made headlines for racking up 250,000 in just 20 minutes this month. Salma, followed by 15.3 million on Instagram, has been splattering the swimwear shots amid jaw-dropping no-makeup ones, although these can go either way, with 2020 seeing Hayek slammed by a troll alleging she was using “too much” Botox.
The photo came poolside and likely from the farm-style sanctuary where Salma has been in quarantine. It also showed the Hollywood starlet bikini-clad with her killer cleavage on show.
The hot shot, seen below, showed Salma sun-drenched as she arched her back over the edge of the pool, with greenery in the background and an unusual, upside-down angle offering an attractive finish. The Mexican was bare-faced with closed eyes, seen rocking a chocolate-brown bikini top with ruched fabrics and attractive metallic-gold detailing.
Likely a selfie, the photo came captioned: “#Sundayvibes.” It also quickly brought in a like from 51-year-old “Friends” alum Jennifer Aniston. She did not appear to drop her phone. But someone else did.
Salma may not rake in the engagement on a Kardashian level, but the Golden Globe nominee isn’t lacking on the fan front.
“Beautiful,” one fan wrote, with another going down the throwback route as they mentioned the star’s 1996 appearance in “From Dusk till Dawn” – “Beautiful! Today you would rock these scenes in ‘from dusk till dawn’ even better than some years back.”
For one adoring fan, though, it was too much: “You made me drop my phone and crack the screen. I’ll send you the bill,” they wrote. More after that pool video.
Salma’s Instagram has largely been backing Black Lives Matter and sharing pandemic awareness amid COVID, but the barefaced updates haven’t gone anywhere. Likewise, the star’s unique knack for social media. A recent rainbow photo delighted fans, with Salma proving particularly popular earlier this month as her smartphone caught a beetle landing on her shades – at just the right moment.
Salma has also been sharing the farm girl life, with an alpaca shaving video receiving mixed reviews – fans spotted she was with others and not wearing a mask.
