Adele just sent millions of her fans reeling after admitting her next album is the farthest thing from her mind at the moment. The “Rolling In The Deep” singer dropped the bombshell Friday evening on social media as she was giving a major shoutout to author’s Glennon Doyle memoir, “Untamed.”
The revelation about her upcoming album was even more interesting as it came just as Adele was clearly riding a high while talking about “Untamed” and admits she feels like she just “flew into” her body for the first time.
Adele gave quite a rave review of “Untamed,” which was written by Glennon Doyle, the wife of retired soccer star Abby Wambach.
Doyle’s 3rd memoir debuted at #1 on the New York Times’ best-seller list and deals with themes of female empowerment, self-discovery and love.
“If you’re ready – this book will shake your brain and make your soul scream. I am so ready for myself after reading this book! It’s as if I just flew into my body for the very first time,” Adele captioned a photo of the book’s cover.
Adele completely gushed about the book, telling fans:
“Anyone who has any kind of capacity to truly let go and give into yourself with any kind of desire to hold on for dear life – Do it. Read it. Live it. Practice it. We are a lot! But we are meant to be a lot! .. “A good life is a hard life!” Read this book and have a highlighter on hand to make notes because you’ll want to refer back to it trust me!”
The singer added, “I never knew that I am solely responsible for my own joy, happiness and freedom!! Who knew our own liberation liberates those around us? Cause I didn’t!!”
Although fans were happy Adele was in such a great mood, one fan asked about her rumored upcoming album. The star hasn’t released new music since her 3rd studio album, “25,” which debuted in 2015.
“Adele where’s the album?” the fan asked.
Adele actually responded, “I honestly have no idea.”
The comment by the singer sent off a huge reaction from fans, who noticed the response and immediately went into hysterics.
“NOOOO Adele please feed us!” one person wrote.
“girl drop the dam album , Miss you’re [sic] voice,” another wrote.
