The singer is currently down and out for the count due to laryngitis.

Dua revealed the unfortunate news on her Instagram story on Thursday, December 9.

The British pop star was due to perform at Z100’s iHeart Radio Jingle Ball in New York on December 10.

Sadly, she will be a ‘no-show’ and apologized to her fans.

Dua took to her Instagram Story writing, “As most of you know I’m currently suffering laryngitis and have been on vocal rest per my doctor’s orders.”

“I was hoping for a faster recovery, but unfortunately, I’m still under the weather and unable to perform at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball.”

Dua expressed that she is ‘extremely disappointed’ she won’t be able to kick off the holiday season with her fans.

“I was really looking forward to kicking off the holiday season performing at this year’s Jingle Ball. I’m so sorry I won’t be there to celebrate the season with all my fans.”

Ed Sheeran, the Jonas brothers, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Dixie D’Amelio and more are slated to perform during Friday’s show.
