Over two months after the fired “Vanderpump Rules” cast member and her fiancé, Beau Clark, officially confirmed that they were expecting their first child together, Katie spoke to Us Weekly magazine about Stassi’s maternal manner before describing her longtime friend as “very caring.”
“She has such a maternal sort of aspect of her,” Katie told the magazine while promoting her new podcast, “You’re Gonna Love Me,” which premieres on August 14.
“She’s really caring and likes to care for people and wants to just have a little mini her. I’m like ‘Oh, my gosh, she’s going to be a little devil,’” Katie continued.
According to Katie, she believes Stassi and Beau, who got engaged in July of last year amid “Vanderpump Rules” season eight, will make a “good” parenting team.
“Stassi definitely has more of the feminine energy and Beau’s a little more rambunctious, so it will be interesting to see like who she takes after more,” she shared.
Katie went on to reveal that Stassi and Beau’s baby girl already has “already got, like, a full year’s wardrobe.”
As fans may know, Stassi’s podcast, “Straight Up With Stassi,” was canceled on the heels of her racism scandal earlier this year. However, that didn’t stop Katie from going to her for advice about her upcoming series.
“I’ve definitely asked questions,” Katie confirmed. “Her advice was always just like, ‘Find interesting people to talk to you,’ or ‘Ask interesting questions’ or just, ‘Let it just sort of come naturally to you.’ … A lot of my questions were more technical. We all have very different styles and personalities and how we like to converse with people.”
Following Stassi and Beau’s baby shower, which was held in Los Angeles, Stassi was seen celebrating her 32nd birthday at the home Katie shares with her husband, Tom Schwartz, in the Valley Village area of L.A.
Also present during the bash was Jax Taylor, whose wife, Brittany Cartwright, was in Kentucky at the time, and Kristen Doute and Alex Menache.
As “Vanderpump Rules” fans well know, Kristen was fired from her full-time role on the show at the same time as Stassi.
The ninth season of “Vanderpump Rules” would have begun filming earlier this year but due to the coronavirus shutdowns in Los Angeles, the cast has yet to get back in front of the cameras.
As for when production on the new episodes could potentially begin, filming will not likely begin until after SUR Restaurant reopens.
Bravo has not yet officially confirmed the ninth season of the show but in recent months, several cast members have publicly spoken about their future returns to the network.
