Machine Gun Kelly is a man who gets what he wants, apparently, and when he and Megan Fox are burning the midnight oil and in need of a late-night snack, he knows exactly what his new lady is ordering.
MGK made the culinary revelation Thursday during an interview with Will from 104.3 The Shark and RADIO.com. During a walk-and-talk interview, the actor and musician was very candid about his controversial relationship with Fox, as well as his love for something very important in his life — soup.
MGK started off the interview letting the host know he could call him Colson, as his close circle of friends don’t refer to the star as Machine Gun Kelly. The 30-year-old star was promoting his upcoming album, “Tickets To My Downfall,” and also talked about his recent music video with Fox for “Bloody Valentine.”
MGK and the former “Transformers” actress have been on a very public romance lately, and he was asked about putting in a late-night takeout order … as they’ve been inseparable lately.
MGK revealed that 34-year-old Fox is “probably ordering sushi. She eats super healthy. Everything is gluten-free and organic on her menu.”
For himself, the star said, “My menu’s like, Shake Shack, cheeseburger. I’m trying to get on that wave. It would be cooler if there was just a soup place that was open all night. I would just order soup all night…isn’t soup fire?!”
MGK went on to proclaim that “soup goes super hard … I wasn’t into the soup game for years and now I totally get it.”
He added that soup is like the “adult cereal.”
Although MGK’s personal life is usually front and center with fans and the media, he wishes everyone would just focus on his music and not the drama in his life.
“I hate it because I wish people would talk about the music more…I just wish people would pay attention to the music, man. I don’t care about what I’m doing in my personal life. I’m just a normal dude,” he explained.
Not quite a “normal dude,” but MGK is keeping it real.
