Alec Baldwin & Family Prepare For Christmas, Despite 'Rust' Tragedy
By Kristin Myers on December 9, 2021 at 3:25 PM EST
Actor Alec Baldwin and the rest of the Baldwin family are getting ready to celebrate Christmas!
On Wednesday night, Baldwin's wife, Hilaria Baldwin, posted a photo of the family out and about in New York City.
Baldwin is the only one posing and smiling for the camera. Hilaria is looking down at the children, who all seem distracted by the holiday decorations all around them.
A large, undecorated tree hovers behind the family as they haul it through crowded city streets.

"We got a nyc Christmas tree," Hilaria wrote in the caption of the photo. "Possible holiday card photo???"
"We aren’t all looking, but gang’s all here, candy canes and all," she added.
"This beautiful family warms my heart," one fan wrote.
"Yes, it should be your holiday card. It's beautiful!" said another fan.
"The Baldwinitos win Christmas," joked another fan. "Best Christmas ever!"
This is not the first time Hilaria has posted about the upcoming holiday season. While out and about, Hilaria posted a photo of her and Baldwin smooching under the mistletoe.

She captioned the photo, "'Tis the season."
These photos share a rare glimpse of Alec since the infamous "Rust" interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, where Baldwin insists that he did not pull the trigger.
Baldwin Insists It Is 'Highly Unlikely' He Will Be Charged In 'Rust' Shooting
Earlier this year, Baldwin made headlines when he allegedly fired a gun on set that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.
Baldwin insists that he did not pull the trigger. He says that he pulled the hammer back slightly when they were rehearsing a scene, and when he let go of the hammer, the gun went off.
“I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them, never," Baldwin said.
He added that he has "no idea" how a real bullet ended up on the "Rust" set but he believes that “Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property.”
He insists that it is “highly unlikely” that he will be criminally charged over the tragedy.
Alec Baldwin & Hilaria Delete Twitter Accounts Amongst Controversy

Shortly after the tell-all interview aired, Baldwin and his wife deleted their Twitter accounts.
If fans try to access @AlecBaldwin on Twitter, they are presented with a page that says “This account doesn’t exist.”
This is actually not the first time that Baldwin has deleted his Twitter account. Baldwin also deleted his Twitter account during the controversy surrounding his wife’s Spanish heritage.
It is unclear when or if Baldwin and his wife will return to Twitter, but most fans think that it will be sometime after the Christmas holidays are over.
