Kaley Cuoco‘s $26 Amazon nightie is getting more press than ever. The “Big Bang Theory” alum is currently in a brand new quarantine after flying out to NYC to complete shooting her new TV series – upcoming HBO Max show “The Flight Attendant” paused production during the pandemic, with 34-year-old Kaley’s return requiring a 14-day quarantine period, per New York laws.
Kaley left Los Angeles a few days ago. Her Instagram stories on Thursday morning came somewhat grumpy with a struggle over the time difference. The sleepwear stayed familiar, though.
Scroll for the video forming the third unicorn nightie appearance from the star. If you aren’t in the loop, Kaley has deemed her Amazon nightgowns an “essential item.” She wore the above one back on Memorial Day weekend, with the affordable sleepwear joining other nighties – an “1800s” one she grocery shops in, plus a strawberry-covered one she excitedly showed off earlier this year: “It’s like Christmas!” she said.
The video was low-frills, also including 31-year-old sister Briana Cuoco, who features in Kaley’s new series.
The footage showed Kaley at 8.21 a.m. and walking through her NYC pad, with sister Bri filming her. Kaley was rocking the blue unicorn nightie she’s already called “awesome”, plus a pair of slouchy PJ bottoms. No socks, no shoes, and one messy bun. The star did not appear in the best of moods to begin with – text in the stories confirmed Kaley to be unused to the 3-hour time difference.
Kaley was also carrying her “foster fail” chihuahua named Dumptruck Dumpy. More on him below.
Kaley had written: “NEITHER ME OR THE DUMPS ARE ON THE NEW TIME ZONE YET. I SET AN ALARM AND DUMPY WOULDN’T GET UP.”
Dumptruck Dumpy is the pup that Kaley and 2018-married husband Karl Cook initially planned to foster during the pandemic. The actress was so besotted with the chihuahua that she dubbed him a “foster fail” as she and equestrian Karl officially adopted him. Dumpy joins existing dogs including Norman, Ruby, Blueberry, and latest adoption Petunia.
Headlines are all about “The Flight Attendant,” though. Here’s what you need to know.
Kaley announced that “The Flight Attendant” would resume production on an episode of her “A Cup of Cuoco” Instagram series last month. The show, already filmed in Italy and NYC, sees Kaley play Cassandra Bowden: a woman who wakes up hungover in a Dubai hotel room with a dead body next to her.
Six of the eight episodes forming Season 1 had been filmed prior to COVID, now back on track for completion. Cuoco is also an executive producer, with her Yes, Norman Productions company (named after her dog) behind the show.
